❌ MYTH: Horses should always wear rugs when the weather turns cold.
✅ FACT: There is no one-size-fits-all approach to rugging. Every horse is different, and the decision to rug should be based on factors such as:

Many healthy horses are perfectly capable of keeping themselves warm, even in colder temperatures. In fact, over-rugging can become a welfare concern, particularly for overweight horses, as it can prevent them from naturally regulating their body temperature.
