🔴⚪️ A huge Rockies welcome to Tom Jarvis, who joins us after another outstanding season at Wincanton Town!

The 23-year-old left back arrives at Shaftesbury having rejected offers from several other Step 4 clubs, and brings real quality, experience and balance to the left side of defence.

Tom was named Player of the Year at Wincanton Town for the third season running, having helped the club secure promotion to the Wessex Premier League. After starting out in the Yeovil Town FC Academy, he has gone on to make over 200 senior appearances, including a promotion-winning spell with Gillingham Town.

🔴⚪️ A huge Rockies welcome to Pietro Almeida, who joins us after impressing during his time at Poole Town and Champion Academy!

An exciting and skillful attacking midfielder, Pietro caught the eye of the management team with his class, creativity and eye for a pass.

He burst onto the scene at Poole Town, becoming their youngest player in 30 years to make a first-team appearance at just 16 years old.

The club is delighted to welcome another young, hungry player who has chosen the Cockrams Stadium as his new home.

🔴⚪️ A huge Rockies welcome to Blake Watts, who joins us following his departure from Yeovil Town FC!

Blake spent 9 years of his development at Yeovil and arrives with great presence, quality and versatility. The towering 6’4” left-footer is equally comfortable at the heart of defence or in a defensive midfield role.

After spending last season on loan at Sherborne Town, and becoming Yeovil’s youngest ever captain in a men’s fixture last October, Blake now makes The Rockies his new home.

🎟️ Season ticket prices are frozen for 2026/27, with Under 16s still FREE.

After scoring an impressive 23 goals last season, Dawid was a priority target for the club. As well as his eye for goal, his movement, creativity, and all-round play will add a new dimension to the Rockies' attack.

As soon as I spoke with the gaffer and the assistant, my mind was made up. The opportunity to work with them and the ambition of the club was impossible to turn down!

"I’m really excited for the season ahead. Obviously, I came on loan for a short spell last season and really enjoyed it, and kept an eye on the club for the rest of the season.

I was really keen to come back and as soon as I found out Shaftesbury were interested, it was a no brainer.

Just can’t wait to get back now and I’m really looking forward to it 👍"

🔴⚪️ Shaftesbury FC would like to welcome Louis Sweeten as a permanent signing following his departure from Bath City.

Louis made 8 appearances, scoring twice whilst on loan last season. The energetic midfielder made a strong impression, and the club were keen to secure his services ahead of the new campaign.

We're delighted to have Louis back in red and white and look forward to seeing him in action this season.
