Before you put your trainers on and head out the door for your run, get signed up to The Yorkshire Dales Classics 2026 Race Series.

Four fabulous fell races, all set in the stunning Yorkshire Dales. The first race Pen-y-Ghent Fell Race 2026 1 is this Saturday, 6th June.

Where did the sunshine go today? No views today as I passed over Ribblehead Viaduct on the Settle to Carlisle train🚂

At our Settle Hills race on Sunday 21st June our local mountain rescue team - Cave Rescue Organisation will be holding a raffle to raise money for the team. Prizes include a lovely cheese box from the renowned The Courtyard Dairy, a race vest from Inglesport, a hydration bottle from Castleberg Outdoors and some branded CRO products.
Please support mountain rescue by buying some tickets. If CRO have to rescue you during the race you’ll be expected to buy a bucketload 😀.

Settle Harriers is a small club based at the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales in the North Craven area, in the towns of Settle, Ingleton and Hellifield. Founded in 1987, we are a growing club with over 200 active members, including around 90 juniors.

As a club we organise four senior fell races: Pen-y-ghent Fell Race, Whernside Fell Race, Settle Hills Race and Ingleborough Mountain Race. We also organise the 3 Peaks Juniors races and are involved with the organisation of several others events in the locality.

This year we put together The Yorkshire Dales Classics 2026 Race Series bringing together all of our senior races which we hope many of you will enjoy!
