🔵🔴 PLAYER UPDATE 🔵🔴

We’re delighted to announce that Jake Harper will take on the role of Vice Captain for Senghenydd Youth this season.

Jake has accepted the role with huge pride and will be a fantastic support to Cameron and the rest of the team, both on and off the pitch.

With Senghenydd rfc blood running through his veins, Jake knows exactly what wearing this jersey means. His passion, commitment and attitude make him a great choice to help lead this fantastic group of young players.
We can’t wait to see Jake grow into his role, develop as a leader and give his all for his teammates and his club.

Huge congratulations to Ashton Lawton, who is deservedly named Man of the Match today! 🏆👏

A relentless performance from Ashton today, tackle after tackle, making yards, putting pressure on the opposition and proving to be a total menace from start to finish.

Although the scoreboard didn’t go Senghenydd’s way, the rugby our young Saints played was fantastic. The effort, determination and commitment shown by the whole team was outstanding.

The coaches and supporters couldn’t be prouder of our young Saints. 💙❤️

🔵🔴 To our youth boys 🔵🔴

Tomorrow is results day and as a rugby team, we know that success isn’t always about the scoreboard. It’s about the effort you put in, the setbacks you overcome, the teammates you lift up, and how you keep going when things get tough.

Whatever the results say tomorrow, remember that one set of grades cannot measure the things that make you who you are, your resilience, your character, your commitment, your courage, your creativity, your sense of humour, and the way you support the people around you.

Celebrate your achievements.

But if things don’t go the way you hoped, remember that there is always another route forward.
One result does not define your future.

Be proud of how far you’ve come.

You will always be part of our team.
