By purchasing a product from "Pro-Tector" you are helping support workers and their families in Nepal who are fairly paid. Pro-Tector is proud to have all our travel accessory range ethically made in Nepal. Therefore we are very careful when selecting local manufacturers, making sure that all the employee’s have a decent working environment and are fairly paid and that there is no child labour. Ho

wever, in having all our travel accessory range ethically made in Nepal, we have had to accept certain downsides like, as Nepal is a land-Locked country, all products have to be Air-Freighted back to England which is obviously a lot more expensive than shipping them by sea, also as the political regime is, to put it mildly, a bit unstable, this sometimes making continuity of supply difficult. However, by at least by providing some employment, at a fair rate, we feel that we are doing a Small part to improve the people’s lot in one of the world’s poorest countries. Since our concept in 2004, we have slowly improved and expanded our range and this can all be seen here and you can also read what previous customers had to say as the Pro-Tector GB name slowly becomes synonymous with Quality Ethically Produced Products and a Reliable Service.

Hi Rob,

I just wanted to let you know how reassured we were to know that our rucksacks were safe in their protector bags on our recent trip to India. We returned with rucksacks that were cleaner than you might expect and which still had all their straps!! We’re looking forward to using them on our next trip.

Having recently returned from a hiking trip to Everest Base Camp, Nepal, I just wanted to let you know that the covers purchased for my day pack (32L) and the hiking poles did not let me down, keeping everything secure during transit. Besides that, my document holder went everywhere with me - dipping in and out for cash was easy enough. It's been a successful and an outstanding experience all round!
