20 YEAR ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL OFFER

To celebrate our schools developing students and changing lives for 20 years we are making an unbelievably good offer to new students.
The first 20 people to sign up for our 20 year offer will be able to start in September at one of our four centres and will pay NOTHING until January!!!!
This includes free enrolment, no training fees, free dobuk, training handbook and their first grading free in December. That’s worth around £300 in total!! Nothing at all to pay until they return in January.

We have classes for 4-7 years, 8-13yrs and 14 years and above for all abilities in our four centres at Rowlands Gill, Scotswood, Ryton and Sunniside/ Marley Hill.
We’ve had so many amazing moments in our twenty years and we are looking forward to the next 20 years serving the North East of England!

Hi everyone, we have been invited to take part in the North Lanarkshire Open on Saturday 5th September. Can anyone interested please let me know asap, the development squad have already been invited at squad training recently but it’s open to anyone who would like to attend.
We will need umpires too please if someone can volunteer to attend to represent the club their expenses will all be covered.
We do have blackbelt training and squad training on the date but we will move both to Sunday instead.

Hi everyone, hope ur enjoying the summer holidays
On Saturday we have blackbelt training 0930-1130 for all black and red belts at excelsior Academy. Cost is £10.
Afterwards we will start our new elite squad competition training from 1130-1330.
Students who are at least green belt and 10 years old can attend but they should also be serious about doing competitions regularly.
As it’s summer holidays we will run it if we have plenty booked in. Can everyone please enter onto Heja if you are coming. Cost per student will be £15 but discounted to £10 for families
Please understand that this will be a step up from normal competition training so be prepared for lots of hard work!!!!!
If we don’t have enough to run this one we will start in September.
Any queries please let me know.
In September we will look to run an umpire training session too.

Great blackbelt training session on Saturday!!

Good to see our new Blackbelts ready to progress and our new red belts attending their first blackbelt training.

Hi everyone, this Saturday blackbelt training will be on from 0930-1130 then we will have a short meeting with Red and Blackbelts to discusss grading requirements.wed like parents to attend also.
As we don’t have a huge number booked in for competition training will be cancelled.
We will have a meeting to discuss future competition training after blackbelt training to discuss a way forward. This meeting is for more experienced competitors and parents etc, also for those who can learn to coach and also umpire next year we will run at least one competition.
