Saxilby Sharks U6s took two teams to their first ever tournament at Sibsey this weekend.

In the stifling heat, every single player put in an amazing shift and should be incredibly proud of themselves. 💛🖤

The moment of the tournament came when the two Saxilby teams faced each other and luckily for the coaches and parents involved, the match ended in a very entertaining 2-2 draw… phew! 😅⚽

A huge shoutout as well to all of the parents for making the long journey, helping out throughout the day, and supporting the teams in exactly the right way from the sidelines. Brilliant support all round. 👏

And finally, a big thank you to Spencer’s family for our fantastic new team banner. It looked brilliant! 💛🖤

A huge thank you to Coach Kim and Bardney Panthers FC for being such amazing hosts today and for the ice pops too 👍🏻

All of the boys worked incredibly hard in the heat, listened carefully, followed all the coaches’ guidance, and showed some brilliant passing and teamwork throughout. So proud of the effort, attitude, and team spirit from everyone involved.

Special mentions for Arthur with a fantastic hat trick ⚽️⚽️⚽️ and Tommy for a brilliant penalty ⚽️

Another brilliant session on Saturday morning with a hardworking group giving everything from start to finish! ☀️⚽️

The effort and attitude across the whole session was excellent, with everyone fully focused and working hard throughout. It’s great to see the group continuing to develop each week as we build towards our first tournament for the U6s this weekend. The excitement is building and the boys are putting in the work to be ready 🦈🔥

Milo worked extremely hard throughout the entire session, listening really well during all the technical elements and showing great determination in the game at the end. A brilliant attitude and effort from start to finish, well done 👏⚽️

Another fantastic session yesterday with sunny, warm weather setting the tone for a brilliant morning! ☀️⚽️

A big group in attendance and the effort across the board was excellent, this is exactly the standard we want to carry into the summer period! The energy, focus, and willingness to learn continues to shine through every week. 💪🦈

🌟 Sharks Players of the Week 🌟

Teddy – Worked his socks off from start to finish and showed exactly how to bring training into match play! He applied everything we worked on in the drills into the game at the end, with fantastic running into space. Brilliant effort! 👏⚽️

Marshall – Excellent effort in the 3-aside games, constantly asking for the ball and putting in some crucial tackles!

Zac – Brilliant session, capped off with an incredible double hat-trick in the 3-aside games! ⚽️🔥

Sebastian – Worked really hard throughout, listened well, and took on board all the advice from his coaches. Great attitude!

Amazing work from everyone—love seeing this group develop and grow in confidence each week! ⚽️👏

We took 14 Sharks today to play two games side by side against our good friends at Welton FC. Both matches were action packed and end to end, full of non stop energy, great skills, and some brilliant goals from both teams!
