Nithsdale Under 13s were at home to Stranraer today with Archie Hubbard leading the way as captain. The team dug in deep and held Stranraer to 0-0 draw for the 1st 20 minutes with some good football and Stranraer got a goal just past the 22 minute mark. The boys never had many chances in the first half and came to half time 4-0 down. Xander made a lot of good saves throughout the game along with Travis who played brilliant in defence. But the team struggled 2nd half with there heads going down. We pushed all the way to the final whistle but in the end not much created in front of goal. Overall the team tried their best and that’s all we can ask for. Nithsdale 0 Stranraer 10. Onto the next game.

⚽️ Last Friday Nights Football | 2016s ⚽️

This saw our Nithsdale 2016s back in action for the first time since their summer break! 🌞⚽️

We travelled to Castle Douglas for a great evening of matches against Threave, Saints, Dalbeattie and Galloway Thistle.

A fantastic turnout from the boys with 11 players making the trip, with our captain for the evening, Harley Kilpatrick, proudly leading the team. 💪👏

It was great to get the kids back out on the pitch and blow off those summer cobwebs! There were some excellent spells of football throughout the games, some brilliant goals and, most importantly, lots of hard work and effort from everyone. 👏⚽️
