🌧️💨 Another great summer day of wind and rain for our 2016s! 💙⚽

Our 2016s made the trip to Dumfries on Saturday morning for a fantastic morning of football hosted by Queen of the South. Captained by Haris, the team faced strong opposition from Queen of the South, Greystone, Gretna and Soccerbees.

Despite the challenging conditions, the players put in a tremendous shift from start to finish. There was some excellent football on display, with lovely crosses into the box, clinical finishing, and plenty of determination against some very tough opposition. The team showed great character, digging deep and battling right until the final whistle. 💪⚽

👏 A special mention goes to Archie Telfer, who was closest to the centre circle and won the challenge!

🌟 Player of the Match: Edward Findlay.
A well-deserved award for his tireless work rate and effort up front throughout the morning.

2014's Match report: Nithsdale turned up to the Glens tournament this morning in high spirits not all with their football boots (MacAlister)🙈 with games against Ardeer Thistle, Heston Rovers, Morton Thistle, Kilwinning Football Academy and Galston.
The team got stuck straight into the games with some cracking goals and unlucky with a few hitting the wood word. There was great movement down the sides of the park and up front. Defence was strong with Archie Hubbard eventually getting the goal he looked for all season.
Out of the 5 games the boys drew 3, won 1 and lost 1.
Overall great effort from everyone who played today great performance all round ⚽️⚽️

Our 2016s travelled to Ardrossan yesterday to take part in the TASS World Cup Tournament. Thankfully, we managed to avoid getting completely soaked, with only a couple of light showers throughout the day! 🌧️☔️

A tough day at the office for us yesterday. We really struggled to get into the games and lacked the fighting edge that we're so used to seeing from this group. That said, we'll roll our sleeves up, get back to work on the training pitch, and come back fighting next weekend! 💪⚽️

🌞⚽ Thursday Night Football ⚽🌞

Our 2016s travelled to take on Irvine Rangers on a cracking night for football. Our captain for the night was Ruaridh McKenzie.

The first half was excellent, great movement off the ball, brilliant link-up play and a superb work rate tracking back. The second half brought a few tired legs but the kids kept battling to the end. Well done to every player for digging deep 💪⚽
