Remembering Ethan Treharne & Supporting Brain Tumour Research at the Lewis & Ethan Memorial Tournament.
As we come together this weekend, Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th August, for the Lewis & Ethan Memorial Tournament to promote the second of our Club charities, we stand proudly in remembrance of Ethan Treharne to help create much-needed awareness for Brain Tumour Research.
Ethan was a brave and sports-loving young man who fought with extraordinary courage and spirit before passing away at the age of 17. The disease, which was a glioblastoma brain tumour, sadly stole his future far too soon, reinforcing why campaigns for better treatment options are so desperately needed.
Our thoughts and deepest support are always with Ethan’s family – Nikki, Justin, and all who knew him. We will never stop remembering his courage, and their ongoing strength and dedication ensure that this tournament continues to raise a loud and proud voice for this critical cause.
Through his story, we proudly support Brain Tumour Research. This tournament allows us to create much-needed awareness and support for better treatment options and, ultimately, a cure for the disease that took Ethan and devastates so many other families.
Get Involved: Head over to the Hope for Ethan gazebo across the weekend to take part in the Tombola and help us raise funds directly towards better brain tumour treatments.
