Our neighbours, Sandhurst Cricket Club are running a girls-specific event on the 24th June at their cricket club to encourage getting more girls playing cricket locally. With the women's World T20 being held this summer in England, it's a great opportunity to showcase the sport and introduce the game to the next generation.

*FINAL DEADLINE TO SUBMIT GRASSROOTS VOLUNTEER NOMINATIONS WITH BERKS & BUCKS FA*

Morning All

I hope everyone is well.

We have been approached by Berks & Bucks FA and strongly recommended to have our Club nominated in certain categories, to highlight the role the Club plays in creating an impact in the Community.

Events like CRY (screening Cardiac Arrest in the Young), Veldon Exchange (our international programme with IVO) and Guy’s annual Gambia trip to Hawks FC to share kit and boots. This plus our ongoing involvement in providing grassroots football to Sandhurst are all important aspects of supporting football for all in our Community.

I checked with BBFA, we as Mangers/Coaches/Parents can all nominate our own Club. TODAY is the FINAL day we can nominate. So if you are able to find a little time to help nominate the Club, it would be greatly appreciated by all of us to help promote the work we do in the Community.

Another successful journey to Hawks FC in Gambia comes to an end. Thanks to the generosity of our Sandhurst community, 63kg of kit was delivered by our respected Sandhurst FC club ambassadors, Guy and Wendy, whose time and efforts have continued an annual tradition that has been running now since 2003. The words of thanks and the pictures shared tell the story! Thank you to everyone involved in making this happen!
