A classic long overdue transformation, crazy work from 🤯
Around 22kg (48.5lbs) lost, a whole lotta recomposition, hence why it looks like even more fat loss😮‍💨
All this achieved through flexible dieting (many fun foods still consumed) and 1-2 sessions a week, it really doesn’t take much to make a change!

Consistent effort beats perfection always🙌🏼

A consistent high effort with training and food intake over a year period.

This year included a long and slow gaining phase, with no rush to gain bodyweight - wrapped up recently with a small diet to get us back into a good position to begin slowly pushing once again.

Starting the year off with an outrageous transformation😦120lbs down!!!

Sam has lost a mind boggling 120lbs over the course of around a year. This was done, like any other transformation with immense consistency and a good old calorie deficit.

There is definitely more nuance to a diet than just a calorie deficit, as mental battles will always end up being the hardest thing to fight through a long dieting phase (which you should all know how big of an emphasis I put on mindset). That is a reminder that achieving this truly isn’t easy but it is always possible🥰

Sam is a true legend and her hard work obviously speaks for itself - genuinely no more words needed from me.

A super important transformation to me right here, from my client Vicky

To say Vicky has had a crazy journey is an understatement - every challenge, she’s been there!

From a really poor relationship with both food and exercise, to the happiest and healthiest she’s ever been (her own words😁)

Granted I’ve not been here for the whole journey but that’s what makes it so important for me as a coach, to have the most compassion in regards to a clients history and future. Sure you can lose some lbs, but at what cost? Has the client had any unhealthy points? What could trigger that same mindset to resurface?

You need to know when to “push” and when to ease off. Sometimes taking a step back lets you make leaps in progressions, both mentally and physically.

Both are so so important to me and all of my clients will know, I truly care about all facets of the transformation process.

Nevertheless this transformation is sick, nearing on 12kg / 26lbs down since we started in January, with an awesome relationship with running and lifting👏🏼

Appreciation post for Mumsy💅🏻
Mums been training with me for nearly 2 years now (18 months between pictures), overcoming massive obstacles with some pretty awful knee & elbow pain, hindering both walking and lifting - to now being able to walk 20k steps a day, and putting up some impressive numbers on split squats, leg extensions and now even hack squats!

Diet has really been dialled in the past 6 months, as she’s taken the whole journey a lot more serious - prioritising protein, limiting (not eliminating) her higher calorie choices such as chocolate, alcohol etc.

Another good push, before we pull back a little to alleviate some fatigue, from the 20k steps and 50 mins cardio 3x / week😂😁

We’re now 17kg (~37.5lbs) down and really getting into our stride, much more to come that I can’t wait to show🙌🏼

Super happy with how these turned out thanks to the man 📷

Looking back there’s always more to be had, but the next one we’ll make sure I’m leaner and fuller - still the best I’ve ever looked so there’s my positive to take :)

Me and the boys & .pt have learnt a lot from the whole experience, main thing being I’m a nightmare to fill up😂 2000g of carbs + 240g of fat over 3 days still didn’t have me full to the brim. Lol. So next time we’ll be ready a full week early to give enough time to fill out!

Also will manipulate water next time as my best look of this period was 2 weeks post shoot, hungover🤦‍♂️😂

As a wise said to me, don’t be afraid to make mistakes☺️

5 weeks into reversing out of the diet for Marcus, considerably fuller, harder, bigger🫡

Pictures show end of diet to now, same weight in both!! Just some more carbs in the boy and continually upping his skill of training.

What I failed to mention in my last post (would’ve been way too long soz I waffle), is that Marcus hadn’t ever trained before we started working together so a lot of the diet was spent trying to nail ex*****on.

Now we have some more food in us and removed the stress of dieting, training can really start to come into its own (my forte, I’d like to think), so we’ve been in a super good spot to be able to push for some new muscle tissue fairly effortlessly😂

Intensity the highest it’s been✅
Stressors being managed✅
Sleep improving✅
All the Rice Krispies, Bagels and Pasta✅

All of this done solely online👏🏼

Diet wrapped up for my online client Marcus😮‍💨
Some immense work from the boy over 14 weeks👏🏼16lbs down in total, (14lbs between pics) as we are now 1 week into reversing out - so some more carbs and cardio dropped slightly.

So so proud of this transformation as Marcus’s work load over this time has been absolutely insane😂but look what he has achieved in an environment very far from optimal!

Still including some food and drinks out, not to mention a crazy week where he performed at Wembley.

So how did Marcus achieve this?

He didn’t wait for the perfect time, he didn’t back down from the effort required and he just kept on showing up🤝

Now let’s eat and chase some gains😆

Long overdue post here of my PT client Sharan!
Before working with me, Sharan struggled with structure and putting intensity into her sets. I devised an achievable plan to fit her lifestyle and we dialled in the her ability to aim for progressions each time she stepped in the gym.

Our starting position was less than ideal (doing a lot, eating very little and training nowhere near how we are now💪🏼), meaning this was all achieved with 0 formal dieting - just manipulation of expenditure (steps & cardio). So, relatively seamless as I’m sure Sharan will all agree😆

Another big positive for us was the first holiday with 0 weight gain! Made possible by our pre holiday prep😎

Overall a stone down, and the pictures speak for themselves!

Back again with some same bodyweight pictures✌🏼11 months apart
As a natural please do not let the science of being limited to putting on a pound or 2 of muscle on each year, stop you from trying at all. Get heavier gradually over your gaining phases - aim to gain as much as possible without getting sloppy. This time for me it’s been ~25lbs, where lines and veins are now starting to fade so not in a rush to push up many more lbs🐷

Each time I’ve looked back this past year on my progress I’ve realised how different you can look with at the same bodyweight (in similar body composition)! From the rear especially l feel as though I’ve gained like 5lbs of tissue😂when in reality probably a few ounces🤣so don’t get disheartened when the scale isn’t 50lbs heavier after a year long bulk, quality over quantity in everything!

Don’t underestimate what a single pound of muscle can add to the balance of your physique😎

11 WEEKS 11(.7) KILOS⬇️😮‍💨
Tidy up phase wrapped up for Owen, 93.5kg -> 81.8kg🤌🏼

This was far from the perfect dieting phase, several things seemed to keep getting in the way like social events, holidays and niggles from Rugby. Things that will always be there, which just require a bit of problem solving to ensure we are still on the right path to the goal.

Remember that: effort > perfection!

Owen never ever fails to do the work and the results speak for themselves😁peak off season to a pretty damn tidy 93kg in a swift 11 weeks - the goal here was to never get super lean as the extra bodyweight helps Owen with Rugby performance and allows for less restriction coming out of this diet.

Also not 1 cardio session was done to achieve this (which may not be the same for you, but in this case we pushed food high enough in off season to avoid the dreaded cardio👍🏼)
