👀👀👀POSTSEASON INCOMING👀👀👀
Now attention turns to the British Baseball Federation Postseason Playoffs.
SWWBL are involved in the Wildcard with the Exeter Baseball Club Wyverns travelling to Richard Evans Brunels with the winners of that game facing the winners of the other Wildcard between Tonbridge Baseball Club Bobcats and the Bracknell Baseball Club Pyros.
Once the Wildcards are out of the way, we have a repeat of the SWWBL Division 5 Championship Game - with the New Forest Thunder Knights Thunder hosting the Plymouth Mariners Baseball Club
The other teams involved in the Postseason are Millers, The Hastings Pirates Baseball Club Pirates, London Mastodons and the Herts Raptors

We cannot wait to see how our clubs get on on the National stage! Let's go! ⚾💪👍

🏆🏆🏆CHAMPIONS AGAIN🏆🏆🏆
The SWWBL went unbeaten at the British Baseball Federation Summer Cup at Farnham Park. Charlie Capener managed the team and defended their title from last year. Unfortunately, due to the poor weather on day 1, there was no time slot for the final so the trophy was shared with the Stockton Grizzlies Baseball Club who were also undefeated during the tournament.
The highlight of the weekend was playing against the Great Britain Baseball Team Lions U15 managed by Ian David Griebenow We knew we were going to be in for a tough game against the talented youngsters so we met them with our strongest line up. It was a great game full of quality and stand-out plays by both teams.
Meanwhile the Wessex Dukes, made up from SWWBL players fought hard - coming away with a win and two losses.
Also the New Forest Thunder Knights were also in action in the Bronze division - matching Wessex Dukes with their results.

☀️☀️☀️SUMMER CUP IS HERE☀️☀️☀️
It's Bank Holiday Weekend so it's Summer Cup time. The British summer isn't really playing ball as tomorrow morning's games have been pushed back due to forecasted rain but we'll be ready for the afternoon.
Keep up-to-date with the schedule and scores on the British Baseball Federation stats site.
We have been able to enter two teams with players from the region into the Silver category - with New Forest Thunder Knights entering a team in the Bronze.
We wish all the players the best of luck for the weekend.

🏆🏆🏆FINALS DAY RESULTS ARE IN🏆🏆🏆
Congratulations go to the Merlins Buccs and the Thunder who took the Div 3/4/5 SWWBL Championship Games respectively.
It was a fantastic day of baseball at - home of Bristol Baseball Club.
Many thanks to all of the players who made the journey to play in the All Star Game or the Championship Games - especially those who had to leave early and got home late.
Thanks goes to Bristol Baseball Club for hosting and setting up and taking down the field.
Thanks also to the umpires and scorers - without who the games wouldn't happen- especially SWWBL committee member, who organised the umpires, scorers and the programme of the day.
Our attention now moves onto the playoffs as well as The Summer Cup next weekend.

You might of heard the news that we won the British Baseball Federation Division 4 North on Sunday ❤️
Our first time back in the BBF for many years and we focused on giving it our best shot.

Well we did that! We played Spartans baseball week after week. Heads up, good humoured, enjoying being there and getting better, as a team.

The double edged sword of a dream coming true is the next leg: a National quarter final in Plymouth 😬

It'll be a hell of a battle and we want to keep the North in the race but we need some help to get there. Any support, donation, share or like is massively appreciated. Spread the word ❤️⚾️

👀👀👀GW RESULTS👀👀👀
Well, that caps off the final round of the regular season for Divisions 3 and 5 - with the Cardiff Merlins Baseball Club ⚾️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 winning D3 and New Forest Thunder Knights Thunder topping the Severn D5 and the Plymouth Mariners Baseball Club winning the Wessex D5.
In Division 4 we had our SWWBL Semi-Final where the Newton Abbot Brewers came from behind to beat regular season champs Plymouth Outlaws Baseball who will now face the Richard Evans in the Championship Game next week.

Now that the regular season is over, we now know which teams will be contesting the SWWBL Championship Games.
Plymouth Mariners Baseball Club will face-off against the New Forest Thunder Knights Thunder in Division 5 - first pitch at 10am
Newton Abbot Brewers will take on the Bristol Baseball Club Buccaneers for the Division 4 title - first pitch at 2
The Bristol Bats will play the Cardiff Merlins Baseball Club ⚾️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 for the Division 3 Championship - first pitch at 2pm
We will also have an All Star Game at 10am where representatives from all over the region will come together to play against each other.
All of the games will be hosted at Bristol Baseball Club Somerdale Pavilion - all are welcome to come along and watch a fantastic day of baseball.
