We are still on the look out for volunteers. Can you help?

🔴🟡 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT SALTCOATS VICTORIA FC 🟡🔴

As we continue our return to Campbell Park and prepare for an exciting 2026/27 season, we're looking to add to our fantastic team of volunteers both on and off the park.

We currently have opportunities available for:

⚕️ Club Physio / First Aider Support the squad on matchdays and training nights, helping with player welfare and injury management.

☕ Matchday Kiosk / Kitchen Staff Help serve supporters and visitors in our matchday hospitality areas.

📱 Matchday Content Creator Assist with live updates, photos and social media content during matches.

🎥 Matchday Videographer Capture the action and help create engaging content for our supporters and sponsors.

🤝 Other Volunteer Roles Whether you have experience in maintenance, events, fundraising, media, administration or simply want to help your local club, we'd love to hear from you.

Saltcoats Victoria FC is run by dedicated volunteers, and every role plays a vital part in helping the club grow both on and off the field.

Join us this Friday at Campbell Park for the Chemrig Charity Match, supporting a fantastic cause.

⚽ Kick-off: 1:00pm at Campbell Park
🍔 The kitchen will be open, serving food and refreshments
🍺 The bar will also be open throughout the afternoon

The day doesn't end there! Everyone is invited along to Saltcoats Labour Club from 7:00pm for an evening of entertainment, fundraising and good company.

🔴🟡 CLAYTON ENJOYING LIFE AS A SEASIDER 🟡🔴

New signing Clayton Smith was delighted to take part in Saturday's open training day and experience Campbell Park as a Seasider for the first time.

💬 "It was good to be back at Campbell Park and it makes it even better to be in the home side this time."

Clayton was also impressed by the transformation around the ground following months of hard work from volunteers and supporters.

💬 "The improvements are massive. It looks like a proper setup now, with the brand new changing rooms and everything brought back to life with a fresh coat of paint."

On the pitch, he was encouraged by the attitude shown throughout the first day of pre-season.

💬 "Seeing all the boys pull together and help each other when the runs got hard really showed the team spirit we've got."

Clayton also enjoyed seeing the youngsters from BOSSA United getting involved during the afternoon session.

💬 "Some of the talent they have at that age is frightening."

The excitement continues to build as the Vics prepare for their return to Campbell Park ahead of the new season.

🔴🟡 A SPECIAL DAY BACK AT CAMPBELL PARK 🟡🔴

For many of the players, Saturday wasn't just about getting back into pre-season training — it was about being back at Campbell Park and seeing supporters around the ground once again.

Midfielder Jack Cousar admitted it was a special feeling to return and see the club's supporters back where they belong.

💬 "It was special being back at the ground, mostly because the fans were back. It gave you a buzz being back in."

After a few weeks away from football, the squad were put through their paces with a demanding double training session as preparations continue for the new season.

💬 "The sessions were good and very much needed after a few weeks without football."

The day also gave local youngsters and supporters the opportunity to get involved, meet the players and take part in some of the activities alongside the first-team squad.

💬 "It was good seeing the youngsters enjoy the session."

With the players back on the pitch, supporters back around the ground and excitement continuing to build, the countdown to the new season at Campbell Park is well and truly underway.

🔴🟡 BACK HOME AT CAMPBELL PARK 🟡🔴

There was a real sense of excitement around Campbell Park on Saturday as the squad returned for the first day of pre-season training.

Midfielder Euan Anderson was delighted to be back with the group and praised the effort shown throughout the day.

💬 "Everyone absolutely grafted for the first session, and it was really good to see everyone pushing each other through. If we keep going like that, then we will absolutely be one of the fittest teams in the league."

The day wasn't just about preparing for the season ahead. Supporters, families and youngsters from local boys' clubs were also welcomed along to join in the fun and get a closer look at the squad as preparations continue for the 2026/27 campaign.

Euan also highlighted the fantastic work that has gone into transforming Campbell Park over recent months, with the improvements around the ground helping to create a real feel-good factor as the club prepares for its return home.

💬 "It was also great to see the improvements around the park as a result of the hard work from the committee, supporters and other volunteers."

With pre-season now underway and the countdown to competitive football continuing, the excitement is building as the Vics get ready to return to Campbell Park.
