What a fantastic weekend at Buckminster Gliding Club! Among many other flights, some of our highlights include Ed and Tim Williamson’s 24 minute T31 flight (yes, 24 minutes in the brick!), both Josiah and Ben Page accomplishing their silver heights and logging a great deal of soaring, a 4 hour 25 min long flight in the mighty Mucha for Ben Geoghegan, a brilliant convergence soaring flight in the K8 for Guy, many aerobatic flights for Phil Tooley, navigation briefings for our pilots looking to complete their SPL theory, and a great deal of training and soaring for Buckminster pilots, Loughborough University, and our friends from Cranwell Gliding Club and Nottingham University, flying NU2 and F1.
