One change made on the course several years ago was widening the green surrounds.
It might not sound like much, but the difference it makes to how the course plays is huge. Wider surrounds mean better turf quality around the greens, and more options when you're just off the putting surface. Chip it, bump and run, putt it from the fringe, the choice is yours.
It's the kind of detail our Greenkeeping team have implemented to great effect, and it's one of the reasons the greens and their surrounds are playing as well as they are right now.
