And that’s a wrap!
The Sabres had their moment to shine yesterday at the DJM League Presentation at Plymouth Arena. As we close the 2025/26 season, we want to extend a huge thank you to our players, coaches, parents/grandparents/supporters and our incredible sponsors. Your support and commitment has made this season one to remember, which we would not swap.
Thank you all - we can’t wait to see you next season where we'll be aiming even higher!!

DJM League Cup Final
Saltash Sabres 1 - 1 YMCA All Saints
(0 - 3 Penalties)

It's obviously disappointing to come so close, and lose on penalties, but we are so proud of the Sabres' performance today and it was down to really small margins. The opponents were physical, but we stood up in the main, although we need to learn this part of the game.
A draw was a fair result, and to those who took penalties, thank you for being you brave. You will all become stronger mentally because of this.
We now look ahead to the DJM presentation which we can be very proud of and gives us our moment to reflect on and appreciate what the girls have achieved.
Thank you for being there to share this with us.

Tomorrow, it’s League Cup Final Day!!

One last game to finish an incredible season. We’re so proud of every single one of these girls and everything they’ve achieved together this year.

Go out there tomorrow, and give it absolutely everything, but most importantly, enjoy it! You’ve earned it.

Whatever the result, you’ve already made us proud.

⚽ MATCHDAY REPORT ⚽

Marine Academy Plymouth 4 - 4 Saltash United Sabres

What a way to end the season!

A last minute goal with the final kick of the game by MAP making the final score 4-4.

The Sabres were outstanding, stood up to some real physical moments, and didn’t back down.

We played some lovely passing football but it was the players' attitude and determination that impressed the most.

There is still much to learn in terms of game management, but that comes with experience.

...And just like that, it's the last League game of the season!
On Wednesday, the Sabres take on Marine Academy Plymouth Junior U13s away. We're so proud of how far the girls have come, and how hard they’ve all worked.
Let's go out there one last time and show 'em what we've got!
