Just want to thank the Forder Friends Group and the donation of a Stand Alone Punch Bag and Stand. Picked it up from Ian a great bloke who donated it free to Saltash ABC.
Ian said as it’s for young people you can gladly have it.

Saltash ABC - Update
I’m in danger of repeating myself, nevertheless very few happenings surprise me nowadays.

The boxing has taken a big leap forward since we built and opened an on site, self build boxing ring housing in June 2025. Monthly Attendance has almost doubled with over 100+ young people aged 10 to 18 undertaking boxing every month. Long may that continue as it should ensure our sustainability for the foreseeable future.

We are now preparing to add an annex to the new ring building. This will enable us to separate the fitness equipment from the boxing ring and punchbags.

Saltash ABC wishes to publicly thank Richard Borosky the well know owner of premier brand Carlton Plastics for donating a door and large window for the said building. Richard is a former boxer who I have known for over 12 years, in fact Saltash ABC taught Richard’s two daughters Becky and Issy to box and they certainly inherited Richard’s genes, both reaching an excellent standard.

In the current world turmoil and cost of living crisis it’s so humbling to find people out there willing to donate to small charity projects like ourselves. Doing and giving to volunteers who help young people to achieve their goals and progress.
On behalf of all at Saltash ABC we salute you for your generosity.
BZ Richard Borosky

Hi there, we are desperate to secure a doctor reasonably local to Saltash; up to 50 miles; to get some of our boxers medically fit to box this season. We will bring them to you (10) anybody have a doctor willing to conduct 10 medicals. If your doctor does not have a place to conduct the medicals we can provide rooms in Saltash.
Thanks hoping you may be able to help us out.
Yours in boxing

For the past two terms we have been working with the amazing young pupils of Fountain Head House Send School teaching boxing and life skills on a weekly basis. We love working with such polite, keen and eager young people on their personal development and journey.

Saltash ABC proudly announces gratitude to yet another local supporter for their generous sponsorship. The manager of Travis Perkins (Saltash) Garry Parkins has provided the materials for us to be able to construct a fitness area onsite as the club grows.
Garry contacted me after seeing a post on our page in late Autumn 2025. That post was an apology to our boxers stating we had to raise our sessional fees from £2 to £3 due to rising costs, the first increase in 10 years. Garry said you are the type of club that needs support.
We are so grateful for this generous sponsorship and truly indebted to Garry and Travis Perkins. The materials arrive this morning.
BZ Garry.
