Coach Hene Sports 4–10 De La Salle Reds

Into the next round! 👊🏆

Horrible weather, a poor pitch and injuries meant conditions were far from ideal today — and we definitely didn’t make life easy for ourselves in the first half.

We started slowly and allowed Coach Hene Sports, who play two divisions below us, far too much freedom on the ball. Credit to them, they took advantage of it, caused us plenty of problems and made sure we had a game on our hands.
A few words from the manager at half-time though… and the response was exactly what was needed.

The lads came out for the second half with much more confidence and intensity. We started taking control, creating chances and eventually put the game to bed with a much stronger second-half performance.

⚽ Goals: Kai, River x2, Haydn x3, Charlie x2, Niall, Mo
🎯 Assists: Charlie x4, Edward x2, Kai, Macauley
⭐ MOTM: Macauley

Not our best start, but cup football is about getting through — 10 goals, job done and we’re into the next round! 🏆

🏆 CHALLENGE CUP — 1ST ROUND

Cup football is back! 🔴⚫️

We’re on the road again this weekend as we turn our attention to the Challenge Cup, facing Coach Hene Sports in the 1st Round.

The lads come into this one off the back of a massive league win last weekend, and we’ll be hoping to carry that momentum straight into the cup. 💪🏼🔥

We’ve still got a few injury concerns within the squad, but whoever pulls on the shirt will be ready to go.

Different competition. Same mentality
