Welcome to Della Reds, Jack, Macauley & Haydn! 🤝

All three have been with us throughout pre-season and today made their official competitive debuts — and what a way to start! 🔥

All three linked up brilliantly with their new teammates and helped the Reds to a massive 9-1 opening-day win!

They'd already given us a taste of what's to come in Thursday's friendly too, with Haydn bagging a hat-trick and Macauley grabbing a couple of assists. 👀🔥

MATCH PREVIEW | FLIXTON JUNIORS WOLVES 🆚 DELLA REDS

And so it begins… 2026/27.

The Della Reds kick off their new league campaign this morning with a trip to Flixton Juniors Wolves.

It’s certainly not the start we’d planned squad-wise. Six players are unavailable through injury, leaving us seriously depleted for the opening game.

But no excuses. 💪

The lads who are available will give everything, and after a long summer of preparation, it’s finally time to get back to competitive football and see what this group can do.

⚽️ FULL TIME | DELLA REDS 6-4 SALFORD LADS

Well… that was some "friendly" 👀🍿😂

A crazy 10-goal game to finish off pre-season, with tackles flying in from the start and things even boiling over towards the end. Safe to say, not much friendly about this one! 🤣

On the football side, there were plenty of positives.

🎩 Haydn with a HAT-TRICK on his debut! Couldn't have asked for a much better start in a Della shirt.

⚽️⚽️ Charlie picking up exactly where he left off last season, getting himself straight back amongst the goals.

⚽️ Kai also on the scoresheet before doing a job for us at centre-back. With injuries leaving us really depleted at the back, he stepped in and was an absolute BEAST. 💪

Our three new lads all impressed, and there's already some really promising signs with how they've fitted into the group.

Defensively, the injuries certainly didn't help us, but going the other way...
We looked scary. 👀🔥

Six goals. A debut hat-trick. Three impressive debuts. Tackles flying. A bit of handbags to finish. 😂🍿

Pre-season done. Bring on Saturday. 🔴⚫️
