We had fantastic teams and weather at this year’s Sale Waterpark charity dragon boat festival.

Manchester Foundation Trust Charity raised vital funds for our local hospitals.

We have entered the dragon boat festival season and what better way to celebrate it and fundraise for your charity then to get a team together and battle to be crowned the winner at Sale Water Park!

No experience needed!
Laughter, competitiveness and fundraising team spirit needed.

Teams of upto 16 paddlers ( 16+) and drummer (12+) fee £550 set up a just giving.com page for charity and you’re in the race.

Each team races 3 x 200m and the 6 fastest team times will go into the ultra final!

Manchester Dragons had their first BDA race of the season and our second ever BDA race.

4 of our crew unfortunately could not make it last minute but our intrepid 16 paddlers still went up and won a trophy in the 200m Open race!!

It’s been a very busy time coaching Manchester Dragon Boat Club for their first British Dragon Boat Racing Association race of the season as well as numerous novice teams who will be racing in various charity dragon boat races in 🐲
