Great to be back on Monday for our first outdoor Comets session.

We’ve now moved to Ashton on Mersey Sports Club and will be running free sessions every week, 5-6pm.

Another really positive session with plenty of effort, smiles and confidence growing each week. It’s great to see the group building and new faces continuing to join.

If your child would benefit from a relaxed, supportive football environment, feel free to come down and get involved.

🎡 BIG NEWS AT ASHTON ON MERSEY SPORTS CLUB 🎡

We’re excited to announce plans for something a little different…

Introducing… Ashton on Mersey Adventure Land 👀

Set within our existing grounds (yes, the clubhouse is staying exactly where it is), we’re exploring a bold new concept that brings together sport, leisure, and a bit of fun for everyone.

What’s included?

🎾 Two brand new padel courts
🎢 Family attractions and rides across the main field
🍔 Food, seating and social areas
🚁 A very premium arrival option for certain club officials…

All designed to sit within the current site and make better use of the space we already have.

It’s still early days, but we couldn’t keep this one quiet any longer.

Another brilliant Comets session tonight!

Great to see so many new faces and the kids trying so hard from start to finish. The effort, the smiles and the confidence building each week has been fantastic to watch.

We also had a few children come down just to have a look, which is absolutely fine. You’re always welcome and we hope to see you back again soon.

Thanks to everyone who came along and supported. The group is growing nicely and the atmosphere is spot on.

Another great Comets session on Monday.
The kids worked hard, had fun and showed real progress. Thanks to everyone who came down and supported, these sessions are already starting to build something special.

A HUGE thanks to all the volunteers who have seen us recognised as the best club under Cheshire FA.

We have nearly 200 ace volunteers who help to create sporting opportunities for nearly 1,000 children and adults.

A huge thank you to all that joined us today.

We realise that there were a lot of disappointed people who were turned away because they couldn’t pay on the gate, but it has been this way for the last few years and will always be this way in future. There is no need to be rude to the volunteers who put a huge effort into making this family event happen.

For those who bought tickets in advance, we hope you really enjoyed it. If you have any suggestions for next year, please put them in the comments.
