The ‘PHIL’s’ will be doing this for the amazing Liverpool based children’s cancer charity chosen by Wes’ wonderful wife Amy, Liverpool CHICS

We are fast approaching a charity event that Coach Phil and our fabulous teams sponsor Phil Lyon Pick 'n' Mixers Rainford are doing in honour of our amazing friend and coach that we sadly lost one year ago, Wes Greenhalgh.

The event is a 12 hour dartathon and the girls in our football club will be taking part with their own sponsorship challenge and supporting the ‘Phil’s’ throughout the day.

The charity chosen by Amy, Wes’s wonderful wife is Liverpool CHICS . A charity supporting children with cancer in our city and every penny raised will go directly to them in Wes’ name, to help support the incredible work they do.

In honour of Coach Wes’ first anniversary we wanted to host an event to raise funds for a worthy cause in his name.

Coach Phil and Club sponsor Phil Pick 'n' Mixers Rainford aka the Phil’s will be doing a 12 hour darts marathon from 10am to 10pm on Saturday 9th May and would love your support both in person and pennies!

Our coaches and girls will be popping in through the day to cheer them on and take part in their own sponsored darts challenge.

There will be plenty to see and do, stalls, face painting, tombola, guess the name and more so please do come and see them and show them some love

All funds raised will be donated to CHICS Liverpool children’s cancer charity.

Hi all, our U10’s and Phil Lyon one of our amazing sponsors and club friend are fundraising for Liverpool C.H.I.C.S a child cancer charity in memory our lovely Wes’ as his first anniversary approaches.

There is currently a Just giving page active for any monetary donations people may wish to make and they are arranging an event on 9th May, details of which will follow but they need a helping hand.

They are asking for as many donations from your teams, players family and friends as possible. This week they are asking for donations of sweets and or chocolate to be brought to training or alternatively dropped in to Phil at Pick’n’Mixers in the village.
