Solid performance from the rovers on Sunday with a well earned win against Wheathampstead 89 FC.

2 goals in quick succession from a period of sustained possession and pressing earned us the points. A good 2nd half from the Wheathampstead boys put us under a bit more pressure, but we held out, creating a few more chances along the way.

Goals from Harry Parker and Alex Brace with and Charley Board assisting.

MOTM was Alex Brace for a constant press and well taken goal. 🎉🎉

A good opening day fixture against the new boys . A hard earned draw with a 94th minute winner ruled out. ⁉️

A good number of chances at both ends.

MOTM: rjchalkm - really decent saves and solid from crosses all game.
