5 Mistakes Keeping You From REAL WORLD STRENGTH 🏔️💪🏻

I’ll be honest — I love a long cardio session (run) and guilty of skipping mobility. 🙋🏼‍♀️ It felt like I was “training hard,” but the truth? I was holding myself back.

Once I shifted my training, everything changed. No more constant niggles. No more fending off injuries. Just strong, capable movement — like floating up mountains and flying down them with confidence. 🌿✨

It’s still a journey, but one that’s given me so much more freedom in how I move.

When I first started training, it wasn’t the mountains I was climbing — it was my own self-doubt. 🏔️
Every rep felt like a question: “Am I strong enough? Can I really do this?”

But fitness has a way of giving you answers. With each lunge, squat, and mile, I built more than muscle — I built unshakeable confidence.

Now, when I face a steep trail or a heavy pack, I don’t just trust my legs. I trust myself. 🌿💪

Stronger in the gym, bolder in life — here’s what training really gave me.

For me, the gym started as a way to get a flat stomach and see the number on the scales go down.

But the number went up… along with my muscle, strength, and confidence.

My flat stomach is still en route, yet to arrive, but my legs charge through the miles towards marathon day.

I stand taller in life, reaching beyond my comfort zone.
I’m lighter in mind, embracing challenges, refusing to accept defeat, and moving forward one step at a time.

The freedom is the best part — freedom to explore, freedom to live, freedom to push limits, grow, and build resilience, gaining clarity along the way. 🌿💪

I didn’t realise when I started training that it would change me far beyond fitness. 🌱

When I first started in the gym, I thought it was all about getting stronger and fitter. But over time, I realised it was teaching me so much more.

It taught me that progress will always matter more than perfection — that just showing up counts.
It gave me the confidence to try, even when I fell short a hundred times.
It reminded me to be kind to myself, because growth doesn’t come from beating yourself up.
And it built a resilience in me that shows up whenever life feels heavy.

The truth is, the gym gave me lessons that stretch far beyond the four walls and the weights. It gave me the strength to keep chasing the life I want to live.
