The Oak on Peasemarsh Road has opened properly after lockdown. Plenty of free parking, less busy as out of town (2 miles from Rye) and an awesome traditional changing menu. Call them for details, recommend.

In the early evening between Christmas and New Year, what would usually be a bustling town of people going to restaurants, walking about and enjoying the ambiance of the town. It's quiet, saw a couple of people, wondering when the town will wake and come back to life.
