With the 2025/26 season now coming to a close, we're excited to announce that we are now taking expressions of interest for players set to be U8-U11 (Year 3-6) as of September and looking to join our 𝙍𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙂𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙢𝙚 ahead of the 2026/27 season! 🙌

Our 𝙍𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙂𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙢𝙚 is perfect for committed players looking to supplement their existing training with further and specialist coaching, with our sessions built around futsal, a fast-paced, small-sided format of football that is widely recognised for accelerating player development! 📈

Through engaging, high-intensity sessions delivered by our Xcel Performance Coaching team indoors at Christ the King College, players benefit from ⬇️

𝗫𝗰𝗲𝗹 𝗙𝗖 – 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄! 📣

This morning, our Xcel Performance Coaching U12's are in their final fixture of the 2025-2026 Mid-Solent League season! 🤩

This sees our 𝙓𝙘𝙚𝙡 𝙁𝘾 U12's travelling away, albeit still on the Island, with our side set to face Oakfield Youth - who have already confirmed their status as Champions of both the Mid-Solent A League and Cup this season! 🏆

So the boys are looking forward to finishing their respective campaign with a challenge, and can hopefully build on the performance from our most recent fixture against Oakfield - where we hosted them only several weeks ago, resulting in a narrow 2-0 loss in an entertaining game! 🙏

𝗫𝗰𝗲𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗳-𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘀 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱-𝘂𝗽! 📣

What a fantastic close to the week, with two brilliant days of football at The Bay CE School - Community Facilities, as we rounded off our Half-Term Camps with our 𝙓𝙘𝙚𝙡 𝙁𝘾 Player Development Camp on Thursday and Xcel Performance Coaching Football Development Camp today! 🤩

Yesterday's camp provided a great opportunity to bring all three of our 𝙓𝙘𝙚𝙡 𝙁𝘾 sides together, with players challenged through a session focused heavily on developing their technical qualities. This progressed into a building through the thirds practice, before finishing with a conditioned game centred around creating and exploiting opportunities through final end zone play. It was brilliant to see players applying the themes of the session and showcasing their development throughout the day! 📈

Whilst today, we were delighted to welcome a fantastic blend of both existing Xcel players and those new to our programme. With it especially pleasing to see so many younger players joining us for the very first time and embracing the challenges on offer, with the day once again centred around player development - with sessions designed to improve and develop ball mastery, receiving skills, ball striking and combination play! ⚽️

For which we were particularly pleased to see these key themes evidenced throughout the afternoon games, with players demonstrating confidence, creativity and an increasing understanding of the concepts covered! 🙌

A huge thank you to every player who attended across the week. The effort, focus, attitude and application shown throughout both camps was outstanding and made the week such a success. With a special congratulations to our award winners from today ⬇️

We’re excited to announce our 𝙓𝙘𝙚𝙡 𝙁𝘾 Player Development Camp taking place next week during half term! 🔥

📅 Thursday the 28th of May!
📍 The Bay CE School - Community Facilities!
⏰ 12:30pm-6:00pm!

The camp is open to both current 𝙓𝙘𝙚𝙡 𝙁𝘾 U11's - U13’s players, and those interested in joining us next season for U12’s - U14’s! 🙌

Whilst throughout the day, players will take part in a variety of technical and tactical practices, activities, and game-related sessions, all designed to help prepare for the season ahead! 📈

Specific focus areas include ⬇️

✅ 9v9 session work for U11’s & U12’s
✅ 11v11 session work for U13’s
⚽️ Technical development
🧠 Tactical understanding
🏆 Match preparation and decision making

With the current football season winding down and all eyes now set towards 2026-2027, we're busy behind the scenes preparing, updating and refining our development centre model in preparation for a BIG year ahead! 🙌

This focuses on our 𝙇𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡 𝙐𝙥 and 𝙍𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙂𝙖𝙢𝙚 programmes, currently delivered at Christ the King College on Tuesday and Friday evenings respectively! 📅

As part of this, we’ll be using our upcoming 𝙁𝙤𝙤𝙩𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙥 on Friday the 29th of May as a key recruitment opportunity - giving new players the perfect chance to experience the Xcel Performance Coaching environment firsthand - and opportunity to meet our coaching team, with all sessions throughout the day overseen and lead by our Director - JT Coaching! 👊

In particular, we're keen to welcome players who are currently U8/Year 3 to U10/Year 5. Although our camp extends to those also currently in U11/Year 6 up to U13/Year 8, which is covered as part of our Xcel FC pathway! 📈

𝗫𝗰𝗲𝗹 𝗙𝗖 – 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄! 📣

Tomorrow morning, we have two of our Xcel Performance Coaching sides back in Mid-Solent League action! 🤩

This sees our 𝙓𝙘𝙚𝙡 𝙁𝘾 U11's and U13's at home, with both looking forward to 11:30am kick-offs at The Bay CE School - Community Facilities! 🏆

Our 𝙓𝙘𝙚𝙡 𝙁𝘾 U11's are set to host Locksheath Lions, whilst our U13's will face off against AFC Stoneham! Whilst unfortunately for our U12's, they're without a game due to US Portsmouth FC unable to raise a side! ⚽️

𝗘𝗦𝗙𝟮𝟲 𝗕𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀 - 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱-𝘂𝗽! 📣

Our 𝙓𝙘𝙚𝙡 𝙁𝘾 Under-12s were back in action yesterday for Day 2 of the ESF Festival of Football 2026 Bognor Regis Tournament! 🤩

Going into the day, the boys knew that to guarantee progression from the group stages, we would need two wins from two in our remaining fixtures! 💪

With this motivation, the lads looked determined from the very first whistle and were firing on all cylinders in our opening game of the day against Flitwick Eagles FC! 🔥 With an excellent all-round team performance seeing the boys secure a dominant and decisive 3-0 victory, with goals coming from Reuben Willis, Teddy Gregory and George Harris! ⚽️

That result set up a huge final group game against Rayleigh Town, with both sides level on points and knowing that a win would secure automatic progression to the knockout stages. Although, despite creating several good opportunities and pushing throughout the game, Rayleigh Town were extremely organised and disciplined defensively, with the match eventually ending in a hard-fought 0-0 draw 🤝

Unfortunately, that meant qualification would come down to fair play points, which narrowly fell in Rayleigh Town’s favour — who ultimately also went on to collect the Fair Play Award for our age group 👏

Whilst the boys will naturally feel disappointed not to progress, we are incredibly proud of the squad and everything they produced across the weekend. Ordinarily, a record of 3 wins, 1 draw and just 1 defeat - alongside an impressive return of 14 goals scored, would have been enough to see the team through in most tournaments! 🏆

More importantly though, the boys represented theselves and Xcel Performance Coaching brilliantly throughout the weekend with their camaraderie, effort, attitude and performances, creating so many positive moments and memories along the way! 👊
