Feels like forever since our last game, no subs in this one due to a couple of injuries

However, normal service resumed and the lads rolled their sleeves up dug deep and put a brilliant performance in, some exquisite passing and play all round.

Congratulations Bayls on MOTM, tremendous today and your game had everything playing in a non familiar position to help your team mates & coaches, great goal too 😉 but your talking was unmatched today, well done buddy.

Speedy recovery to our No.7 Lewis who sadly broke his ankle in today's games and will probably be out for the rest of the season, rest up and see you back on the pitch soon 💪 big shoutout to Paula The Massage and Rehabilitation Clinic who helped on the sidelines today, your knowledge & calmness with Lewis definitely helped him 👏

A glorious day in the sun seen us go toe to toe with this seasons rivals in AFC Gnosall.

Gnosall took the early lead sticking two long range efforts into the top corner leaving the keeper with no chance inside 10mins, the game couldve gone 1 of 2 ways, thr lads rolled their sleeves up and turned the heat on, scoring before the break to give us a decent crack at the whip 2nd half,

The half time team talk was emphasised on working for each other, the pitch wasnt a pitch to play football on today so look a little longer, Lakeside battered the opposition goal and defence scoring with 16mins left, Lakeside kept going and corner after corner, save after save from their keeper seen us heading into ET, copy and paste again we battered their goal limiting them to 1 chance where they hit the bar, ET finished 2-2

Pens- we asked all the lads, hands up who doesent want to take 1, no pressure or judgment...we'd selected our 5 and were confident heading into pens

Sadly pens wasnt on our side today with their keeper making 2 great saves, every player who offered to take 1 kudos to you all, score or miss we said we wasnt bothered and big Max in goal who would've been nervous too made a great save.

Today shown you all have the heart of a lion to come back how you did 💪💪

Well done Joey on MOTM - your game had everything today 👏 a fierce leader from the back, talking to your team mates whilst trying to play his own game!! Brilliant

🔵 Lakeside welcomed Berkswich to the Hart School today, both teams battled a soft pitch and heavy wind, a close end to end game ended in the Lakeside boys grabbing it by the scruff of the neck and kicked on 2nd half, some brilliant bits of play from both teams with some wonder strikes from both too.

The Lions had an away day at Gnosall to contend with today, after Lions edged it in the reverse fixture a few weeks back we knew Gnosall were out for revenge 💪

An end to end game full of everything, including a goal of the season contender strike from MOTM Frankie, with Lions winning 4-3 until the final kick of the game, Lakeside OG seen the points shared as the hosts scored. 4-4 the final score and Lakeside still 3pts clear at the top 💪

The opposition - a resilient Hednesford Town who've recruited well, a slow start seen us heading into 20mins at 1-1, the boys dug deep and shown their class popping a few more goals in, some superb passing in the build up too

Remembrance Sunday seen Lakeside Lions hosting joint top of the table Gnosall to Rugeley

A cagey first half seen us enter the break level, a well taken goal by Harley answered quick by a brilliant Gnosall penalty, the team talk at half time was to calm and play to their best ability, win their individual battles and second half seen us flying out the blocks scoring 4 more with thanks to a brace from Dom and harley scoring 2more to complete his hat-trick, again the visitors replied after finishing a dubious penalty and a cross shot headed home from short range

💥Today we welcomed stafford town to the Hart field, with town just behind us in 3rd place in the league, the boys needed to have the fire in their belly 💪

The game didn't disappoint, Lions entering the half time whistle 3 to the good thanks to a first half Hat-trick from Harley, Town got themselves back into the game with a free kick from range, Lions shown great resilience and pushed on to grab a further 2 goals

Our No.🔟💪💪

Today we visited Hawkins FC for what promised to be a physical game, and it didn't disappoint, as always the boys started fast 3-0 up inside 20mins, we were intense and up for a battle, the hosts clawed 1 back through a long range cross shot that found the back of the net, we responded quickly scoring within 2mins to calm any nerves

2nd half saw the same pressure scoring a further 3 and seeing Dom bag himself a hat-trick ⚽️⚽️⚽️ another answer back from the hosts with another long range effort which somehow found its way under the keeper and in the net, and a corner with 15seconds left of the game saw a goal mouth scramble end with another goal, 3 disappointing goals to concede but positives scoring 7 superb goals , some brilliant passing and build up play and another 3pts ✅️

MOTM Dom- superb running today, you terrorised the opposition defence bagging a hat-trick 💪💪 well done
