Do means “art” or “the way”.

Put them together with JADO, and there’s a lot more meaning behind the name than you might realise!

To everyone taking their levels grading today - take a breath, trust your training and remember just how much work you’ve put in to get here.

There may be nerves, there may be mistakes, but grading isn’t about being perfect. It’s about showing what you’ve learned, challenging yourself and giving it your best. ❤️

And a special GOOD LUCK to Rene, who will be stepping up for her own grading! 🥋🔥

Life Outside Jado 🥋➡️💻

You might recognise Sifu on the mat but what about behind the desk? 😂

Teaching martial arts is just one part of running Jado. There’s planning, paperwork, admin, marketing and plenty more that happens behind the scenes!

So this week, we’re swapping the Gi for the office chair and catching Sifu at work. 👊

Who knew Sifu was a marketing man too? 👀😂

🥋 ASK SIFU

“Is my child old enough to start martial arts?” is a question we hear a lot from parents.

Starting young isn’t about expecting little ones to train like adults. It’s about giving them the opportunity to learn, have fun and develop skills that will benefit them both inside and outside the Kwoon. ❤️

Every child develops at their own pace, and our instructors are here to help them grow along the way. 🐉
