Apart from offering prizes for the 3.5 & 4.0 brackets, any surplus is going to provide pickleball equipment for schools, so a great event to support along with others that build up the next generation of players.

This is the beginning of the Amber Valley promotion for their event - prize money for the Open division but also unusually for the 3.5 and 4.0 divisions as well.

They are expecting this to sell out quickly, so thought to let those interested know in advance…

Leeds proved to be a happy hunting ground for Warwickshire Pickleball over the weekend! There were 3 medals for us at the Game Set Match Spring Tournament. 🥇🥇🥈

Helen won silver in the Intermediate+ category women's doubles.
Darrel won gold in the Intermediate+ category men's doubles.
Dimitri won gold in the Open category men's doubles.

Well done all, fantastic achievement!

Massive congratulations to all the players who have been representing Warwickshire Pickleball in The West Midlands Pickleball League this year. There are 8 divisions with 4 club teams in each group.

Getting into & staying in Division 1 means that our first team will now play against Derbyshire in June and, if successful there, will go on to the National finals in July.

Well done to Nohemi (captain), Helen H, Tara, Laura, Natalia, Ato, Darrel, Richard B, Stu, Peter H, Sam B & Jamie.

Congratulations also to our other Warwickshire Pickleball team who were promoted from Division 5, to 4 & then to 3. Players have been beset with injuries over the year and have still managed to come out smiling.

Well done to Lee (captain), Ella, Sue F, Michelle, Aline, Hannah, Andy, Tom, Graham, Frank, Matt for playing so well.
