It's Not Always About Massive Transformations ❗

This post isn't to showcase a huge transformation,

If you scroll down my page,

You'll see plenty of client results,

Ones where you'll look at the before and after and see a HUGE difference.

That isn't the case with these photo's, but that wasn't the goal either.

Don't get me wrong, if you have 2 good working eyes,

You can CLEARLY see the changes that happened across our time working together.

There's an improved body composition,

Less overall bodyfat,

More muscle mass,

You can see this more around the back & glutes specifically.

When Rawinder approached me she had one simple goal,

To stronger, learn how to lift properly & have confidence in what she was doing on the gym floor.

She had already had a bit of experience training, but didn't know too much.

Across the course of a good year, we worked across multiple different phases of training to increase strength.

Developed a better understanding of how to perform various, more complex lifts at a high standard.

And gained a LOT more confidence in her ability to take charge of training when she was on her own.

We also worked on developing better eating habits.

Gained structure & Control around nutrition.

This & the training paired together,

The physical improvements were a byproduct of this.

And that's exactly why sometimes,

Taking the focus away from how you look and focusing on the other things,

Only makes you look better anyway 😅

You MIGHT think being really strict with your nutrition in Jan / Feb will help you shift those pounds you're desperately trying to lose,

But it won’t.

The truth is, being really strict doesn't work for most people.

It can definitely work, but only when it's done with a clear plan of action and then a plan in place for after the more strict period.

And for most people, the plan simply isn't in place so you end up reverting back to old habits a month later.

You see, for you to really shed fat, lose pounds, become more confident and make it a PERMANENT change...

How I lost almost 1 stone in 8 weeks 📉

This was a shorter more intense burst of fat loss.

Was it sustainable? No.

Was it meant to be? No.

Mindset shifts 🧠

When this client first came to me,

She didn't have a positive relationship with her body.

She didn't like what she saw in the mirror ❌

She didn't like the way she looked in clothes ❌

She would always point out the negatives ❌

She wasn't kind with how she spoke about herself ❌

And now...

Well things are different.

She has a different perception of her body image ✅

She points out more of the positives ✅

She talks to herself in a more positive way ✅

She's kinder to herself throughout her journey ✅

This didn't happen overnight.

This has been through months and months of work.

From both a physical and mental perspective.

But each year rolls around and it's still just that...

'A thought'

There's never any real commitment.

No real effort to make change.

Hi, I'm Kristian 👋

I'm a 1-2-1 Personal Trainer & Online Coach.

I've been a 1-2-1 Personal Trainer for 5 years and currently work in a private facility based in Oldbury 📍

I help people...

A little bit of how I got into Coaching in the first place ⬇️

I first started weight training when I was in my later years of high school, I was always the skinny kid, I was very insecure, didn't like the way I looked, and wasn't confident at all!

That's what drove me to start the gym and the more I started to train, the more I developed a passion for it, loved how it made me feel and knew it was something I wanted to do as a career.

Throughout my coaching career, I've worked at numerous different gyms. I worked at a few gyms trying to grow my 1-2-1 business before changing to working as a gym instructor for a few years to develop my coaching skills whilst being employed.

I then worked as a gym instructor for a few years where I gained experience giving over 200+ 1-2-1 sessions during that period.

I then started working at Pure Gym for a few years, before moving to a private 1-2-1 facility which is where I currently coach.

I pride myself on continuously working to upgrade my services and knowledge to help my clients at the highest standard possible.

I highly value being open honest and creating a non-judgmental environment for my clients.
