Poms, Poses & Pastries 🎀🧘‍♀️🥐

We are SO EXCITED to finally announce our first event for adults! 🌟

Join us on Saturday 7th November, 9am–12 noon for a fun morning of dancing, yoga, cinnamon buns and a yap! 💕

With a focus on the social side just as much as the dancing and yoga, this is a morning to come as you are, have some fun and try something new.

Whether you’ve danced before or have never stepped foot in a dance class, everyone is welcome! Our adult workshops are just as much about having a laugh and meeting new people as they are about moving your body.

Your ticket includes:

I want to give a special Sunday shoutout to my wonderful team 🌟

We’ve officially come to the end of our summer events, and I genuinely couldn’t have done it without the people in these photos 🥹

You’ve all given up your time to come along, help me at events and, most importantly, support me in bringing my dream to life. You each talk about AKDA with so much passion, throw yourselves into every event, and shake your Poms like no one else! ✨

I’m so incredibly grateful for every single one of you.

Yes, it might be my name above the door, but I’m very far from doing this alone 💜

Chapel Allerton Arts Festival 🎉

Wow, what a day we had yesterday at Chapel Allerton Arts Festival! We had so much fun running dance workshops, shaking our poms and taking part in the parade 🥳 Did you spot us? Or maybe you came to our stall to say hello!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for a boogie and got involved, it was so lovely to meet so many local families 🫶 And, as always, a massive thank you to my wonderful team of helpers. I genuinely couldn’t do these events without you 💜

This weekend felt like another really special milestone for AKDA. When I first dreamed about starting the academy, this is exactly the kind of event I imagined being part of, getting out into the local area, meeting people and introducing more families to the cheer and dance world ✨

One day, I hope to come back to the festival with a whole squad of AKDA dancers ready to take part in the parade! 🤞✨

Come and dance with us tomorrow 💃

We are so excited to be attending Chapel Allerton Arts Festival tomorrow! We will be on Well Lane and we have lots of exciting things planned 🌟

Come and find us to come and give cheer-dance a go 🤸‍♀️ we will be at our stall all day, and running longer workshops at 1:10 & 2:45.

Also, super exciting, we are walking in the parade 🤩 if you want to join us, come along to one of the workshops to learn the routine and then join us at our stall at 3pm.

Pack my dance bag with me 🩰✨

Classes start tomorrow, so I thought I would show you what I’m packing in my dance bag 🌟

If you’re attending class tomorrow, don’t forget to wear comfortable clothes you can move in, bring your water bottle and your dance shoes, but only if you have them ✨

I’ll have my dance teacher essentials too 🍬🔊💃

Most importantly, we hope you bring your energy, excitement and are ready to give it your all 🫶 I’m so excited to meet you all tomorrow!
