Our girls are taking part in _get_lean_with_dean_ 24-hour relay run today, supporting Dean’s incredible fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK, in memory of his Nannan, Megan Waters. 🏃‍♀️💜

They’re proud to be running for such an important cause, helping raise awareness and funds for earlier detection and life-saving research. 💜

Our Under 16 Reds team were one of the first Wickersley Youth JFC teams to showcase our new kit and sponsorship.

The Burrows Family has supported the club for many years, and once again under the Simon Burrows Foundation banner they have provided assistance so our teams are looking extra sharp as the new season begins in a brand new home strip!

All our teams will eventually play in the new Capelli Sport kit for both home and away kits and we will be proud to display the Simon Burrows Foundation across the Sheffield & District Junior Sunday League and Sheffield & Hallamshire Women and Girls League games over the coming seasons.

A Night to Remember – Cheering on England Together! 🏆🇬🇧

Some of our girls from the team got together last night to watch England beat Spain, and what a game it was! 🎉💪

So lovely to see the girls enjoying the match off the pitch, surrounded by teammates, mums & Dads.

It’s more than just football, it’s friendship, community, and memories being made. ♥️🤍

Wickersley Youth Girls U11 Tournament Champions! ♥️💙🏆

A massive congratulations to the entire team after an outstanding performance at the Wickersley Tournament!

After finishing joint top of the group, the girls battled through a nail-biting semi-final, holding their nerve in a penalty shootout, with goalkeeper Jeanni pulling off 3 incredible saves to secure our place in the final! 🧤🔥

The final saw more of the same team spirit, skill, and determination, with the girls giving everything to seal a 2-1 victory and lift the trophy! 🏆

A big thank you to Manager Liam and Coaches Tom and Greg, your dedication, support, and belief in the team make moments like this possible. 🙏🏼

Every player played their part and should be incredibly proud. Jeanni’s heroics in goal were unforgettable, but this was a full team performance from start to finish. 👏🏽

Also, a massive thank you to Wickersley Youth Junior Football Club for organising such a brilliant tournament! The whole event was incredibly well run, and it was clear how much effort had gone into making it a fantastic day for everyone involved. We really appreciate it!

Tournament Day Fun in the Sun ☀️⚽️

Our girls gave it their all today in the heat, facing some incredibly strong teams! While we didn’t make it through to the next round, the squad showed real determination, teamwork, and spirit throughout the day ♥️💙

We even had a bit of fun in the last game, with goalkeeper Jeannie swapping places with Isabelle and taking on a new role out on the pitch!

A big welcome to Emmy, who joined us today and did an absolutely brilliant job ♥️

It was a great experience as we continue getting to grips with 9v9, exciting times ahead for the new season and plenty to build on 💪🏽

What a way to end the season, Shield Cup Final winners! 🏆

A massive thank you to our incredible manager Liam and amazing coaches Tom & Greg for their dedication, passion, and endless support throughout the year. Week in, week out, rain or shine, they’ve been there for the girls, pushing them to grow in confidence, skill, and teamwork.

It was extra special to see them celebrating the win with their daughters Isabelle, Millie & Grace, a proud moment for all and a memory they’ll treasure together.

A huge cup final win & a victory in our final match tonight too. The girls have shown so much passion, teamwork & determination all season & we couldn’t be prouder. 💪🏽

We’re looking forward to an exciting summer of tournaments ahead & getting ready for an even bigger & better season next year.
