The final whistle has blown on the U12s season!

Waverley started sharp today, controlling the tempo and heading into the break with a well-earned lead. While a few individual errors in the second half ultimately swung the result, the team’s overall work rate and attitude were a massive step up.

Todays Players of the Match:

Amelia - A defensive masterclass. She was flawless at the back, winning huge tackles all game and capping it off with her first assist of the season.
Jake - His positive mindset today translated perfectly on the pitch. He was clinical in front of goal, bagging a brace and coming inches away from a hat-trick.

We’re heading into the summer with plenty of positives to build on. Time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the off-season. We go again next year! 💙⚽️

The U12s took to the pitch for their final home game today!

After a brilliant, high-intensity first half, we had a brief dip in the second that the opposition managed to exploit.

Calvin - Our captain led by example today. From vital tackles to creating our goal, he gave it his all for the team.

An away game today for the U12s, with the heat adding an extra challenge. It was a highly competitive match, and while the result didn’t go our way, the performance was full of positives from everyone involved.

Todays Sky-House Co & mySycous Players of the Match:

Braxton – Outstanding on the left wing. Constantly taking on defenders with confidence and quality, and delivered a brilliant cross to set up our goal.

Seb – Commanded the midfield superbly. Strong in the tackle, worked tirelessly, and played a key role in building some excellent attacking moves.

A big well done to Waverley. The result may not have gone our way, but it was a strong, positive team performance.

What a performance from our Under 9s today, running out winners against a very good side 👏

The team played some fantastic football from start to finish, showing great energy, teamwork, and determination all over the pitch.

⭐️ Sky-House Co and Morgan Wills & Estates Ltd Player of the Match: Andy for a brilliant display in centre midfield he controlled the game, worked tirelessly, and set the standard for the team.

👏 Honourable mentions go to Luca, Teddy, Dexter, both Louie’s, and Keyaan for their hard work, effort, and excellent team play throughout.

A rare sunny home game for our U12s today! ☀️

The first half was incredibly competitive, featuring end-to-end action from both sides. Waverley played some fantastic football and were perhaps unlucky to be trailing at the break.

The opposition started the second half strongly with more passion. Ultimately, the visitors clinical edge earned them a deserved win.

What a response from the Waverley under 9 boys! 💪⚽

Facing the same team we narrowly lost to at the weekend, you’d have thought it was a completely different side out there. From the first whistle, the lads were switched on, determined, and ready to put things right — and they did just that with a brilliant win (and honestly, they could have scored 6 or 7 goals on another day!).

A huge shoutout to our Players of the Match: Dex, Louie, and Luca 👏 Each of them played their part to perfection, stepping up in different positions and showing fantastic understanding of the game. Their ability to adapt and work for the team really stood out.

Proud of every single one of the lads tonight — top effort all round! 🔵⚪

A tough away game against the league leaders today for our u12s.

Although under pressure from the first whistle, we started brightly in the first half, showing real intent and energy. In the second half, the opposition wanted it more and capitalised on their chances.
Plenty to work on in training this week, but with games still to play, there’s time to put things right.

Today’s Winter Green & Rainbow Restoration Stockport & Cheadle Players of the Match:

Thomas – despite conceding, he pulled off countless saves and kept us in the game with plenty of top class saves.

Oliver – he came on with a great attitude today and made a real impact, offering high energy and attacking threat right to the final whistle.

A windy away day for the Waverley under 9s today but that didn’t stop the lads delivering outstanding performances across the pitch—from defence through midfield to attack—making it tough for their opponents.

⚽ Teddy was on fire with *two fantastic team goals*, showing great movement and finishing to put us ahead.

🧤 Cam pulled off some *incredible cat-like reflex saves*, keeping us in the lead and helping us dominate the game from start to finish.

A blustery away day for our U12s today.

The team played some excellent football, moving the ball around with confidence, controlling the tempo, and holding a strong, disciplined high line. Defensively, they were faultless throughout.

Their hard work paid off with three superbly worked team goals in the first half, followed by some excellent set-piece play after the break.

Todays Sky-House Co & mySycous Players of the Match:

James – A brilliant attacking display, contributing two well-crafted assists and a clever, composed goal in the first half to catch their keeper off guard.

Jack – A strong performance on the wing, creating several chances from dangerous corner deliveries and capping it off with a beautifully struck free kick.

Waverley’s U9s players of the Match: Luca, Teddy and Kian 👏

All three had an outstanding game today, with their link-up play second to none. Kian was a rock in defence, winning everything and keeping things solid at the back. Luca and Teddy controlled the game brilliantly, moving the ball with sharp horizontal passes and attacking with real intensity. Their teamwork gave the opposition no chance to settle or play out.

A fantastic team performance—well done boys! 💪⚽
