Today over 100 Medway primary school children from year 4&5 got to experience Pickleball at Medway Park. We were thrilled to be invited to help out and be part of the event, providing some tips for the players and helping support the fantastic young umpires from MidKent college. It was great to see so many young people (and teachers) enjoying the sports of Pickleball and Indoor Tennis. Great job by Ed, Gary and the team Medway Sport

Finally, last but not least a massive thank you to Jimmys Tennis Cio Trustee Claire for taking the time to come and help us out.

Ahead of next week’s inaugural Medway Primary Rackets Festival, we were delighted to partner with Medway Sport to support the training of MidKent College students as pickleball officials.

While the sport of Pickleball was new to many, the students demonstrated a fantastic attitude and a strong willingness to learn, great qualities for officiating and volunteering

We look forward to seeing them in action at Medway Park next Tuesday as they play an important role in participant’s enjoyment of the sport.
