🏁 LIMITED PLACES REMAIN FOR CADET & JUNIOR SOUTH ROUND 6 AT LYDD! 🏁

Round 6 of the Club100 Cadet & Junior South Championships heads to Lydd this weekend, with limited spaces available in all race classes.

☎️ Interested in racing? Enquiries must be made directly through the Club100 office by phone on 01795 883 592 or by email at [email protected].

There are no spaces available for the pre-event testing, so any new race session entries must already hold a passed Club100 evaluation on their MotorsportUK race licence.

This is the fifth race event of the season and, for drivers who have competed at every round so far, Lydd will see their 9th and 10th race results added to the championship. With the best 10 results from a possible 14 counting towards the final standings, the shape of the title battles is beginning to become increasingly important.

And that makes this weekend a potentially pivotal one.

🏆 Cadet Lightweight has become a closely fought battle at the front, with Jacob Underhill, Luke Collins and Ronnie Deacon separated by only a handful of points.

🏆 Cadet Super Lightweight sees Jack Thompson leading the way, with Harvey Ball and Harley Drury keeping the pressure on. Could Thompson move closer to a North-South championship double on Sunday?

🏆 Junior Lightweight is another incredibly close contest, with Leo Engels, Henry Wilkes, Ollie Brunel-while, Dan Griffin and Antony Roberts all right in the championship picture. With points-scoring room for improvements for all involved!

🏆 Junior Super Lightweight is just as competitive, with Sam Morse leading Ellis Mckenzie and Edgar Azevedo as the title fight continues to develop.

With the final championship positions determined by the best 10 scores from 14, Lydd could be the weekend where some drivers put themselves within touching distance of their title rivals – and potentially set themselves up for a huge advantage heading into the final rounds of the season.

🏁 12 months ago Luke was racing at Super One — hard to believe a whole year has gone by already! 😅

It’s been a great year of learning, both on and off the track. Club 100 racing might not be the biggest league out there, but it throws up just as many mental battles as physical ones — staying calm under pressure, reading the race, and sharpening that race craft lap after lap 🧠🏎️

Looking back at this compared to where he is now, you can really see the progress in his mindset and technique. Small improvements, session by session, all adding up 💪

🏁 Big day at Kart Silverstone for Luke!

P1 in Pre-Event (1:27.569)

Warm Up: Some kart issues finished P9 (1:28.898)

Heat 1: Started 16th, fought back to finish 2nd (1:26.865)

Heat 2: Started mid-pack, finished 2nd (1:27.949)

Heat 3: Started on pole, took the win! (1:26.203)

Winning Round 5 with 75 points and setting the fastest lap of the day in the Super Lightweights class 🔥

Championship points tightening up nicely — now just waiting on the final results!

Two rounds left and Luke’s looking forward to the fight to the finish 💪

Race day for Luke! 🏎️💨

Round 5 at Kart Silverstone Silverstone and the championship is razor tight — every point matters today. Two rounds left in the season, so we’re going all out to climb the standings and keep the title fight alive 🔥

Wet weather testing this weekend and Luke was right in his element 🌧️🏎️

There’s nothing he enjoys more than the extra challenge of finding grip on slicks in the wet — it’s where he really gets to push his driving to the limit.

First session out and conditions were tricky with 23 drivers on track. Luke topped his group with a 1:41.860, a full 1.6 seconds clear of the second-placed cadet ⏱️💪🔥

Session two and the improvement continued — Luke found more pace to post a 1:40.374, showing great progression as the day went on 📈

🏁 HUGE day for Luke at PFi Karting with CLUB100 .Racing the penultimate round of the season, nobody expected what was coming — Luke walked away as Northern Champion! 🏆

The final round at Warden Law will now decide the runner-up spots, but the top spot is locked in!

It was a hard-fought day against a strong field of 40 cadets. Luke went 3rd in his group in both Practice (115.428) and Qualifying (114.487), before stepping it up in the Pre A Final with a win from 5th on the grid — and the fastest lap of the race too! 🔥

Starting the Final from pole wasn’t easy street though. A kart issue aa he was about to go out meant a battery replacement, and it never quite felt or sounded right all race — Luke had to dig deep just to keep it competitive. A tiny mistake on the last lap cost him track position and he came home 5th after a real fight to the finish. Champion mentality through and through! 💪

Massive congrats to the podium finishers James Vout (thoroughly deserved 👏), Jacob Underhill , and great to see George up there too! 🙌

🏁 Big weekend ahead!

Luke is back on track with CLUB100 for Round 6 of the Northern Championship — the penultimate round of the season! 🇬🇧

Heading to his favourite circuit, PFi Karting , with one clear goal: bank as many points as possible and keep the championship push alive. Every position counts from here on out. 💪

🏁 Round 6 down at hooton park kart cricuit with DRS Daniel Ricciardo Series – and what a rollercoaster of a weekend! 😅

Testing and qualifying were strong all day – 2nd in group during pre-event testing, then backed it up with another 2nd in qualifying (44.38 ⏱️) after a solid warm up. Heat 1 saw me come home in 5th, which set up the rest of the day nicely.

The pre-final and final though… that’s where it got tough. Crossed the line 2nd on the road in the pre-final, but penalties dropped me to 6th. In the final I finished 4th on the road, but after penalties were handed out to other drivers I moved up to 3rd 🙌. Racing with mates is always great fun, but days like this remind you how fine the margins are in this sport.

Onwards and upwards now – Whilton Mill is next, and I need to bank some solid points there 💪
