We did ourselves proud at RACKRAID today - position 18 on our first appearance. But more than that, everyone loved it (whilst equally hating it 😂).
Our runners put in an incredible showing at what is a proper tough event, with some grotesque elevations. It got steadily hotter throughout the day as well.
Our marshals team also did a fantastic job as we knew they would.
On top of that we had many many supporters ferrying people around, picking them up, dropping them off, cheering them, giving them water, gels and massive encouragement and putting in a lot of hours and miles. I think our combined mileage will probably be not that far off 1000 miles.
Myself and are immensely proud of our runners, marshals and support crew, and I’m sure everyone else in the club will be as well. Final big shout out again to Ali for the logistics work that went into today.
Everyone working as a team with the end result that we did bloody brilliant.
