The yoga world is vast, diverse, and beautiful. 🧘🏻♀️🙏
There is space for different voices, different perspectives, and different teaching styles. Yoga practitioners come from different cultures, generations, and backgrounds. They dress differently, eat differently, and express themselves in different ways, and none of that makes someone more or less yogic.
Being a yogi is not about how you look, what you wear, or fitting a particular image. It is about how you treat others, especially off the mat.
A good yogi is not defined by their appearance but by their actions. Respect, kindness, compassion, and understanding are what truly reflect the practice of yoga. On the other hand, disrespect, insults, judgment, and harmful words are not yogic, no matter how someone looks or presents themselves.
Let’s remember that yoga is not about appearances. It is about behavior, character, and the way we show up for others every day.🙏
