My brain has 37 tabs open.
My legs are just scrolling through them. 😂🧠🤸‍♀️
ADHD brain + yoga is an interesting combination.
I might start with ONE idea… and 30 seconds later I’ve discovered six variations, forgotten the original plan and somehow ended up upside down. 😂
But honestly, this is one of the reasons I love movement so much.
It gives all that restless, creative energy somewhere to GO. ✨
No need to quiet the brain completely ,sometimes you just let the body move with it.
Anyone else permanently operating with 37 tabs open? 😂👇

I’m so excited to welcome you to our new Friday space!🧘🏻‍♀️
This lovely marquee in Redlees Park is becoming the home of Foundations in Flow , and we’re going to make it as warm, cosy and welcoming as possible.
Think Friday energy… slowing down after a busy week, moving your body, breathing deeply and taking a little time for yourself.
This is a 70-minute slow flow where we focus on the foundations of yoga, mindful movement, breathwork and finish with a guided meditation.
No need to be flexible. No need to be experienced.
Just come as you are, move, breathe… and flow into your weekend with me 🧘🏻‍♀️😘
Fridays at 12:30. See you on the mat! 🤎

Normal people use the sofa to relax. 🛋️
Yogis look at it and think:
“That could definitely help my handstand.” 😂🤸‍♀️
Honestly, your sofa can be a pretty great yoga prop ,especially when you’re working on inversions, building confidence and exploring movement without being afraid to fall.

Yoga doesn’t always need the perfect studio, expensive equipment or loads of space.
Sometimes you just need to get creative with what you already have.

So yes… technically I’m using the sofa.
Just apparently not for its intended purpose. 😂

Yogis ,what’s the strangest piece of furniture you’ve turned into a yoga prop?

Small adjustments. BIG difference.🙌🏼🧘🏻‍♀️

In yoga, sometimes the smallest change in your alignment can completely transform a pose.
A tiny shift of the feet.
A subtle rotation of the hips.
A different position of the shoulders.
Suddenly, you feel muscles working differently, your balance improves, and the movement feels more supportive and intentional.
Yoga isn’t about forcing your body into a shape, it’s about learning how to move with awareness, strength and control.
Don’t underestimate the little adjustments. They can change everything. 🧘🏻‍♀️🙏

ONE LEG. ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES. ✨🦩
There’s something I love about building a flow around standing balance ,one leg grounded, the rest of the body free to explore.
Balance → strength → mobility → control → creativity.
No complicated choreography needed. Just a few standing poses, playful transitions, and the curiosity to see where one movement can take you. 🧘‍♀️
A little creative flow to practise yourself, borrow for your own sequencing, or teach in your next class.
SAVE this flow & TRY IT ON THE MAT. 🔖
Or teach it at class 🙏🧘🏻‍♀️🙌🏼

Most people probably look at this and think…
Why would you willingly put yourself in that position? 😂🙃

But turn the sound ON. 🔊
Listen to what happens.

That’s exactly why.
For me, handstands aren’t just about strength, balance or doing something impressive.
They demand everything from my attention.
For those few seconds, there’s no overthinking.
No mental to-do list.
No jumping from one thought to another.
Just breath. Focus. Balance. Presence.
Sometimes you need to turn your world upside down to finally quiet the noise. 🧠 → ✨
You see a handstand. I feel stillness.
Anyone else find their mind goes quiet when they’re completely absorbed in movement?

yoga wheel.
The yoga wheel isn’t only for backbends and flexibility , it can be an incredible tool for building deep core strength, stability and control.
These exercises challenge your abs in a completely different way because the instability of the wheel forces your whole centre to switch ON. 🔥
Move slowly. Stay controlled. Keep everything connected to the midline — and trust me, your core will FEEL it. 😮‍💨🔥
Save this one for your next strength session and give it a try!
✨ Strong core. Better control. Stronger practice.
Who knew the yoga wheel could be this spicy? 🌶️😂

Struggling to lift your feet in
Mayurasana? ✌️🦚

Stop trying to lift them.
One of the biggest game changers in this pose is learning to shift your body weight FORWARD firs
As you set up:
* Create a strong shelf with your elbows + upper arms
* Squeeze everything towards your midline
* Shift your weight FORWARD
* Wait until your feet start to feel light... then lift
* Keep your legs and feet active
* Push the ground away
Think SHIFT → SQUEEZE → PUSH → LIFT.🦚

Mayurasana requires strength, yes, but so much of it is understanding where your weight needs to go.
Next time you practise, don’t fight to get your feet off the floor.
Find the balance point first.
Save this for your next arm-balance practice & send it to a yogi working on their Mayurasana.

Overly caffeinated ☕️ and ready to go mix the left with the right. 😂🧘‍♀️
Honestly, this describes my weekdays perfectly.
School drop-off ➡️ school pick-up ➡️ teaching yoga at schools ➡️ running to the next class ➡️ teaching again ➡️ remembering I left something somewhere ➡️ teaching ➡️ coffee ➡️ WHERE ARE MY KEYS?! 😂
At this point, I don’t even need a yoga mat… I need an IV drip of coffee. ☕️😂
My weekday personality is basically:
✨ 20% yoga teacher
✨ 30% caffeine
✨ 50% “wait… was that the left leg or the right?”
And somehow… we still manage to teach alignment. 😂
Who else is running on caffeine, chaos and questionable levels of organisation? 🙋‍♀️😂
