Hello everyone, it's been a while and I'm not sure if anyone will see this.
I've wanted to share something deeply personal with you all and thought I'd speak to those of you in here first.
Over the past 4 years, I've been fully dedicated to supporting my, now 18 year old daughter, who has autism.
She's been bravely battling anxiety and depression and I've been her full time caregiver, prioritising her well-being above all else.
It's been a challenging journey but one filled with love, growth and resilience. While my focus has been on her I've missed connecting with you all.
As we continue this journey together, I hope to share more of our story and raise awareness for the importance of supporting loved ones with extra needs.
Thank you for your understanding and support.

Much love always - Bev

Don't compare your hopes, dreams, wishes or goals with somebody else's.

The picture is an example, the goals may be yours, they may not be. They certainly aren't mine.

My days of wanting to climb a mountain are well and truly behind me. Which is rather quite sad, as a 30 year old it really was a dream. Back then though I didn't believe that dreams could so be so easily achieved. Goals weren't what a young married mum of 3 was meant to have.

Well I can tell you, it doesn't matter what age you are or your circumstances, you should set your goals to achieve what you really want out of life. After all, if you don't do it, no-one else will do it for you.

Someone recently told me about a dream and a passion they and their partner have. They both have very good jobs but they really would love to open a little tapas bar or something similar. What a shame it would be if they never even got to try it.

I suggested they sat down, wrote out the pros and cons and went through a few things to bring it closer to reality. It is a long term goal, which is usually the hardest, as it feels like it's so far away. In reality, it will never get any closer if you don't ever start the process.

Remember you have to start somewhere.

Setting Goals

Do you ever set yourself any goals?

I set mine every week. Sometimes life or other things get in the way but at least I'm always working towards something.
Breaking them down to weekly goals makes them more achievable and not as overwhelming.

Each week I set a goal each for:- Work/business, Personal Development, Relationships and Health. These are goals that matter to me.

What goals matter to you? What would you like to achieve?

If you haven't set any goals for this week, have a think about what you would like to achieve by the end of the week and write them down. Do something each day that works towards achieving them. Take small steps, it doesn't matter if you don't quite get there, at least you'll be closer to achieving them than if you hadn't done anything.

You may even have a bigger goal that may take you a few months or a year to achieve. Write it down, break it down into achievable steps.

Don't give up, keep working towards it and you will get there.

Negativity

Negativity can come in different forms but all give the same result - it brings you down, causes anxiety and can lead to depression.
Sometimes the negativity comes from within ourselves, such as lack of confidence in how we look or what we do, can lead to self sabotage and procrastination.
Sometimes the negativity comes from outside influences, such as a partner, friend or family member telling you that you aren't good at what you do, or just that you're doing the wrong thing which then makes you doubt yourself.
Or it can be your boss or work colleague who are never happy with what you do, no matter how well you do it.
And then there are the online trolls. They just don't deserve any time or energy.
All of the above can be quite debilitating.
As someone who has helped many people through struggles of negativity and also been through it myself, I find mindfulness is great tool.
If you're experiencing any sort of negativity at the moment and would like to know more about how I work, just send me a private message.
Don't forget if your an aspiring, struggling or ambitious coach, mentor or therapist, I have my 5 day Free 'Scaling Your Business to £5k+' challenge starting on 27th July. DM me for details.

Don't let anyone drag you down or make you feel that you're not good enough.

Don't forget you only get one shot at this life, so make it count.
It's Your Life Your Rules.

I remember when I started my first service based online business back in 2013. It was so easy to build a client base through FB then.
As time went by, I realised I wanted to help more people in bigger and better ways but online businesses using social media, had grown so much and the platforms ever changing algorithms, made it much more difficult to reach the people I wanted to help.
At times I really felt like giving up. But I didn't and I'm so glad I carried on.
Yes, I paid out for coaches and courses and programmes (some good and some not so) but it was worth it.
Now I help other struggling, aspiring and ambitious coaches, mentors and therapists to scale their business to £5k+ months, by using a step by step process that won't overwhelm.
If you'd like more information, send me a private message.
The next Free 5 Day Challenge starts on 27th July 2020.

Always keep your focus on your long term goal.
Even when things seem difficult, keep working towards it and never give up.
If you haven't got a long term goal yet, now is the time to go and make one.
Anything is achievable when you set your mind to it.
Remember, the only person limiting your possibilities is YOU. So make sure you reach for the top.

Do you ever sit down and think about how you would really like to be living your life?
What you would love to be doing at that moment?
The majority of us are conditioned at a very early age to believe in the beliefs of our peers, parents, grandparents, teachers etc.
And while some of them are good for us growing into well adjusted adults, some of them can limit our capabilities and our dreams.
Yes sure, there are some things that we may never be able to do, like I will never become a world famous singer, because I can't sing a note to save my life. But there again, that isn't my dream.
The older we get, the harder it is to step out of our comfort zone and change the way we think.
It's 10 years now since I first stepped outside of my comfort zone and started my first business. It was scary, it was the wrong thing, it was my partner at the time that wanted it, not me. But at least I tried.
It took me a few years to figure out who I was and what I really wanted out of life.
At times I've had to take a step back to re-evaluate, shift my mindset, make new goals.
In the distant past, this was usually because of naysayers, people who questioned me, what I was doing, my beliefs.
Now, I take no notice of those people, they aren't me, they aren't living my life.
My clients are a testament to my work and how I've helped them. And I am proud of that.
Over the past few months, during lockdown, I re-evaluated again. Although, within myself, I was happier than I'd been in my entire life, I asked myself 'was I on track'? The answer was 'no'.
So, what did I need to do? Pen and paper in hand, I sat down to figure it out.
The outcome was a revamp of my signature programme 'Scaling Your Business To £5k+ months, a new Free 5 Day Challenge on the above and a monthly paid membership site (still in progress) with 25+ (and increasing) courses and programmes for personal development and business.
Again I had to step out of my comfort zone to pull all of this together. Am I on track now? Most definitely. Was/is it worth it? 100%.
So, if you're not happy with the way your life is panning out. Know that you have it within yourself to change whatever you don't like.
Start living your dream. You really can do it.
Remember it's Your Life, Your Rules.
