As a club, we are incredibly proud to see how our netball community continues to grow. It’s wonderful to see players of all ages coming together, celebrating achievements and supporting one another—showing just how special RCNC truly is. 💜

🏆Rejoicing in Ripon: Awards night celebrates netball as an intergenerational game. The inclusive and intergenerational spirit of RRipon City Netball Clubshone brightly at their annual presentation evening on Friday ✨.

A single photograph captured the essence of the club: grandmother Mandy Royle, her granddaughter Gracie Harman, and mother–daughter duo Michelle and Kiera Ingham — generations apart, yet united on court and off. Fittingly for a club whose teams are named Ospreys, Kestrels and Falcons, they are very much birds of a feather 🦅.

What a start to 2026!! 🙌🏻

Falcons had a magnificent game on Sunday winning 71 - 35!! Awesome work ladies! 💪🏼
Our Ospreys also had a blast, showing cohesive team work, determination and week on week improvements! Well done!! 💜

It was also our first training session of 2026 tonight and what a night it was! We hit the ground running with a ball skill and fitness circuit, 5 asides and then some game play to end!

It was great to catch up with old faces and welcome lots of new faces too!! It was great to meet you all and we hope you feel right at home in our nest! ✨

Good luck to Kestrels this Sunday for their first match of the year! 💪🏼💜

If this week is anything to go by, we’re in for cracking year!

Let’s go City! ✨💜

🍾✨ HAPPY NEW YEAR 🍾✨

“Hands up who made a New Year’s resolution to exercise more? You might’ve even joined a gym but found you actually need the buzz of a team sport to help motivate you. Let the good folk at Ripon City Netball Club help. We are a group of likeminded ladies (I use the term ladies very loosely) who train (again, loosely!) on a Wednesday evening from 7.30pm at Ripon Grammar School sports hall. It might be that you haven’t played netball since school. It might be that you hated it at school…! You let me deal with that! All you need to do is turn up in a decent pair of trainers and clothes that you’re comfortable moving around in. Bring a drinks bottle (nobody will be checking what it is filled with…) and a good attitude and I will do the rest! We run an inclusive club. This means we cater for all abilities, ages, experience and body types. We have teams in various leagues but equally, there are ladies who just come for the training and the camaraderie and don’t actually want to play the competitive game. That too is fine. Come along and give it a try - you will be welcomed with open arms.

After the last training session of 2025, it is time to reflect on what a wonderful year we have had as a club! ✨

Falcons are proving they’re a powerful team with 10 out of 12 wins in Division 2 this half of the season! Amazing work ladies! 💪🏼

Kestrels and Ospreys have had successes as well, whether that be winning matches or by showing immense improvements week on week! 😍

Tonight we were decked out in our best Christmas attire and we enjoyed playing mini games with plenty of fun and festive cheer! 🎄

We’ve welcomed lots of new faces to the RCNC nest and it’s never too late to join us!! We’ll be back in 2026 on the 7th Jan, 19:30 at Ripon Grammar School!

From all of us at RCNC, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year! 🎄🕊️🌟

P.s Apparently we make an alright choir too!

RCNC would like to wish our Club founder and head coach a wonderful happy birthday! 💜💜

Helen spins many plates as a mum, a wife, as a friend, as a coach, as an umpire, as a boarding house parent, as a philanthropist and many more.

You amaze us with your enthusiasm and endless energy and we are so lucky to have you!

Happy birthday Coach Mac! 💜

What a fantastic training session tonight! 💜

An awesome turn out of old faces and new! It’s been an absolute pleasure to welcome lots of new ladies and share the magic of our wonderful club and community!

Tonight, Head Coach Helen had us focused on defence with some testing but enjoyable drills before getting into short games to put those defensive skills into practice.

For our competitive players, this was the last opportunity for match play in a training environment before the Winter League kicks off on Sunday!

Watch this space for updates on how our teams get on! 💜

Oh it’s so good to be BACK! 💜

We’ve had an awesome couple of training sessions and it’s been wonderful to see new faces and returning members.

Our competitive players across our 3 teams are getting ready for the winter league which starts in just a few weeks time! We wish all our players in Falcons, Kestrels and Ospreys the best of luck and we can’t wait to share their highlights once it gets underway!

It’s NEVER too late to join us! Remember, if you’re wanting to play competitively or not, there is a place for you here at Ripon City. You’ll find us at Ripon Grammer School Sports Hall on a Wednesday evening, 7:30pm - 8:30pm 💜

A message from our Club Founder and Head Coach, Helen Mackenzie! 💜

“Calling all the lovely ladies of Ripon and surrounding areas. We hope you’ve had a wonderful summer and feel rested and motivated for the months to come. What better than to join a bunch of crazy, sorry, I mean like minded, women in a fun and welcoming environment and get fit in the process? At Ripon City Netball Club we offer training and coaching on a weekly basis. We cater for all ages and abilities from absolute beginners to top team players and offer something for everyone. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t caught a ball since school, or even if you aren’t even that sporty. All that is required is decent trainers, comfortable clothing and a good attitude - we will do the rest! If you fancy trying something new or are an old hand, let Ripon City Netball Club work its magic. We train at Ripon Grammar School sports hall on a Wednesday evening from 7.30pm” 💜

Training is BACK! 🚨
Wednesday 3rd September- we can’t wait to see you there! ✨
