Join us on Wednesday evening for our usual 5km – a steady and social run that’s perfect for all abilities. Whether you’re chasing a PB or just out for some fresh air and good company, everyone’s welcome!

This week, we’re finishing up at one of the best spots in town, The Railway Ringwood🍺 Pub 🍔 Kitchen 🌳 Garden, for some well-earned food, drinks, and a catch-up. 🍻🍔 The perfect chance to refuel and catch up with the crew after putting in the miles.

What a week at RRC! 👟💨🔥

Miles were smashed, new parkruns were discovered and the post-run socials were in full swing…

🏃‍♂️ Midweek Miles → Framptons New Forest for drinks & a catch-up 🍻
🌳 Compton Abbas parkrun → a few of our runners took on the brand new course!
☀️ Sunday Steady & Social 10km → another brilliant bunch of runners out from Hockeys Farm Shop and Farmyard Cafe !

Plenty of miles. Plenty of laughs. Plenty of reasons to do it all again. 👀

Tomorrow morning we’re heading out for a steady and social 10km — and by popular demand we’re back at Ferndown Forest 👀

Starting from Ferndown Forest Golf Club, we’ll be heading out onto the trails for a scenic loop through Ferndown Forest. Expect scenic views, good company, and plenty of fresh air. 🌱

We’ll finish back at The Forest Inn for breakfast, coffee, and a catch-up after — the perfect way to start your Sunday. 🥓🍳

All abilities welcome as always — just come along and run. 🏃🏽‍♀️

🌲 Sunday – Steady & Social 10K
We’re back at Forest Golf Club for a scenic 10K around Ferndown Forest. Expect relaxed miles, great company, and plenty of post-run chats as we finish back at the clubhouse for a social.

It’s shaping up to be another cracking week with the RRC family. See you there! ❤️

Hit the trails with RRC this Sunday! 🌳

Join us for a steady, social run at Avon Heath Country Park. Choose between 5km or 10km, and enjoy the trails with good company.

📅 Sunday, 16th August 2026
📍 Avon Heath Country Park, BH24 2DH
⏰ Meet at 10:00, run starts at 10:15
🛣️ Approximately 5km (1 lap) or 10km (2 laps)

Afterwards we will be stopping for a coffee and a catch up at The Country Cafe , so even if you cannot make the run, everyone is more than welcome to join us at the cafe afterwards. ☕️

P.S. Make sure you manage to keep cool, take the run at your own pace and take on plenty of fluids! 💦

As a Run Club, the New Forest is a huge part of what we do. We’re incredibly lucky to have such a beautiful place on our doorstep, and many of our regular routes take us through the Forest and its surrounding communities. ❤️🌳

So, seeing the devastation caused by this fire is heartbreaking.

We wanted to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to every firefighter, emergency service, Forestry team, volunteer and member of the community working tirelessly to tackle the fire, protect our Forest and keep people and animals safe. We know so many people are putting in an incredible amount of work, often in incredibly difficult conditions.

And while the emergency response continues, let’s remember the local businesses and communities that make the New Forest what it is. If you’re able to, please continue to support your favourite local businesses and show them some love.

We’ve seen some brilliant examples of local businesses supporting those on the frontline too - including Sabina Cummings offering free meals to firefighters, The Fish inn offering free pints to enjoy once the fire is under control, and Alice Lisle offering a free meal and drink to emergency service crews.

So, if you’re local and fancy a chippy tea or a pub dinner, why not consider supporting the businesses that are supporting the people working so hard to protect our Forest? 🐟🍺❤️

Most importantly, please follow the advice of the emergency services and stay away from affected areas so they can do their jobs safely.
