For those members unable to attend the AGM we informed members that expected access to booking courts to play on the new surface would be available from end of March. It is likely that Saturday 28 March will be the first club sessions available and the ClubSpark booking system will be available from that date onwards. For eager beavers keen to play we will be looking for volunteers to ‘test’ the courts on dates to be confirmed 24-27 March.
Savannah court surfaces have a two month settle in period whereby regular plays acts as a way to ensure the sand is evenly distributed across the playing surface. It is to be expected that in the early play on courts we may experience some uneven bounce where sand has still to settle. Our newsletter will contain more details on project progress and timelines.

Our new courts are really starting to look fabulous. We appreciate the patience and support of members while this project has been progressing. Although the courts are starting to look ready to go we have a few more tasks that need to be completed before members can play. The fence wire needs to be connected back to the posts to ensure safety for players, especially on court 2🙈🙀🚑. Court 1 will be unavailable while the new Shed is erected. Our new gates and locks have still to be installed as well as Fence Board along the length of Court 2.
