There’s a certain kind of memory most of us carry…sun-warmed skin, time stretching out endlessly, the sound of water moving gently past.

Days when nothing much was planned, yet everything felt possible.

Somewhere along the way, we forgot how easy that feeling was to find.

But it’s still there.

The river hasn’t changed. It’s still moving, still catching the light, still waiting — not for anything complicated, just for you to arrive.

A few days spent quietly behind the scenes, moving along the Thames through Marlow, Oxford and Lechlade… checking routes, scouting spots, making plans.

Now back home to London — Richmond, Petersham — just as the evening turns golden. Blue sky stretching out, sun dipping low, that familiar calm settling in.
