We currently have members who have been selected for the North East Triathlon Development Squad, the Inter Regional Championships and British Triathlon Academy qualifiers who also participate in the Super Series. The Coaches
Our dedicated and qualifi
ed coaches have a vast knowledge and experience in the sport, many of whom have taken part in a both single and mutiple discipline events ranging from Marathons, Duathlons, Triathlons. All our coaches are passionate about the sport and our club ethos is to be approachable, knowledgable and dedicated to ensuring our members receive the best possible training in a safe environment, most of all we want to be open and honest in all we do. Where we train
Based in the historic town of Richmond in North Yorkshire our members have an amazing backdrop to train in using Richmond pool for indoor swim sessions and Ellerton Lake for open water sessions. Our local run partner is Richmond and Zetland Harriers http://www.richmondzetlandharriers.co.uk/ and many of our members train with them on Tuesdays and Thursdays evenings throughout the year and also take part in the Winter Cross Country Series. We also actively encourage members to participate in the local Parkruns http://www.parkrun.org.uk/ on Saturday mornings as these are a good measure of your progression. Bike sessions are generally held at Prissick Cycle Circuit in Middlesbrough, Catterick Racecourse and turbo sessions at a variety of local venues and often outside in the summer if the weathers nice. During the summer members can race at Croft Circuit organised by TLI cycling http://www.tlicycling.org.uk/ and Richmond Cycling Club http://www.richmondcc.co.uk/ hold a 10 mile time trial from Reeth to Richmond which is an exhilarating event for members to take part in. Details of all of the above can be found on the indivdual club websites. Over the winter months we offer the children 'strength and conditioning' and technique training too. As a club we want to offer a holistic training regime and so encourage our children to take ownership for their training and recommend that training continues at home where possible. In preparation for race day we hold sessions teaching children how to prepare their kit including maintaining their bikes. We also carry out tranisition training so that our children feel completely prepared for their event and can strive to do their best. If you want to find out more about any of our coached sessions please send us a message and we'll be happy to help you with your enquiry.
