New year, new name, same heart. ✨

Bloom Studio Pilates is now Threefold Pilates. A trademark dispute nudged us here, but honestly, it led us somewhere better.

Threefold reflects what we stand for: my three daughters, the three trimesters of pregnancy, and the three stages of womanhood, pregnancy, postnatal and perimenopause, we move through together.

This space has never been about a name, it’s about strength, care, and community.

Because motherhood, in all its stages, isn’t something we’re meant to do alone. Whether you’re pregnant, finding your feet again after birth, juggling work and family life, or navigating the changes of perimenopause, our Pilates classes are here to support you - body, mind and spirit.

🍁 Lauren is a Body Control Pilates instructor, pre & postnatal specialist, and the heart behind . A mum of three girls, she’s guided hundreds of women through pregnancy and recovery, helping them reconnect with their strength and rediscover what their bodies are truly capable of.

🍁 Looking for some help navigating the shift from woman to mother? This is Victoria - mum, coach, and former TV producer. She helps women find clarity and confidence as they navigate life and career after kids. Her coaching is all about balance, purpose, and feeling like you again.

🍁 Meet Rachel - our resident nutrition expert. Rachel is a mum herself and passionate about helping women understand how nutrition can support their journey through motherhood. She offers practical, sustainable advice so that you can feel strong, resilient and energetic, whether you’re back training for a marathon or just trying to get through the day chasing a toddler!

Rachel is Head of Nutrition at Third Space and has a BSc (hons) in Sport Science and a MSc degree in Human Nutrition. She is registered with the Association for Nutrition (ANutr) and the Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register (SENr).

Early postpartum recovery isn’t about “bouncing back.” It’s about reconnecting, breath, core, and pelvic floor working together again.

Start simple.
Begin with breath.

In those early weeks, your goal isn’t strength, it’s coordination.
👉 Supine (on your back) → side lying → all fours
add load and complexity gradually as your system rebuilds.

A few key points to remember:
• Think breathing first, bracing later.
• Rib mobility matters, your ribs need to expand for your diaphragm (and pelvic floor) to move well.
• Exhale gently through effort; inhale into the ribs, not just the belly.
• No “sucking in” just reconnection.

Progress is quiet but powerful.
Breathe, feel, then move.
