Fantastic effort tonight by all in hot conditions. They really worked hard against a talented group a year up. We played some great football which was enjoyable to watch. I thought everybody played well, especially Nathan and Noah who played with them to even the teams out.

We’ve not had many opportunities on the 9v9 and its a very different game with new rules to consider. Really proud of them this evening. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

πŸŽ„πŸŽ„Our Christmas fundraising page has launched! πŸŽ„πŸŽ„

The COVID-19 fight back has begun and we are launching our Christmas Draw πŸŽ…πŸŽ„

As we haven’t been able to hold our Christmas draw under normal circumstances this year, we’ve managed to host an online platform to still have some festive cheer within our club and community.

Our local businesses have been extremely generous in what is such a challenging time for them, by donating some amazing prizes! Thank you!!

The full list of prizes can be found on the update tab of the website.

To purchase tickets for the draw, please head to the page, click β€˜reward’ and enter the number of tickets you’d wish to purchase (Β£5 each).
These are then listed within the admin section of the website.

The purchase of tickets will close at midnight on the 19th Dec 2020 and the draw will take place on the 20th of Dec 2020 live across social media.
With collection of prizes being organised for before Christmas.

Every person and their number of tickets will be entered in to a β€˜hat’ and drawn at random over social media. Please make sure your name is entered fully on the entry. This will be a transparent process

Thank you for your continued support, the club - it’s players and volunteers are extremely grateful for any contribution which can be given.

The page is also a donation page, which will remain open for 55 days. We as a club are continuing our mission to fight back from the financial impact of COVID-19 on our beloved grassroots football. Any support would be massively appreciative.

Best wishes and Merry Christmas, Lisa (Fundraising Officer) & Kelly (Welfare Officer) x

Week 2 into our second season in the TJFA and we were hosting our first home game of the season at our fantastic new pitch. Invited for the challenge was North Ormesby who arrived in good time to warm up. We have never met this team before but we were aware of their high standard from previous seasons. What proceeded was a truly fantastic display of junior football as Richmond played like, what you would expect from a team much much older. Although dominating the game from start to finish it was still level at half time. Then, the second half Richmond really pushed on and took advantage of most of their efforts to secure the win. If this kind of display continues, we’re in for an exciting season with these boys πŸ‘ πŸ’™
