🏉🌟 Congratulations to our Rhigos Juniors U10 stars! 🌟🏉

A huge congratulations to Harri George, Cammie Davies and Arthur Bowley on their fantastic achievement in being selected for the Cynon Valley Schools under 11’s Rugby Team for the 2026/27 season! 👏

Over the past few weeks, all three players attended two training sessions and two very competitive trials with Cynon Valley Schools. During this time they impressed the coaches and have been invited to take on the challenge of playing up a year, which is a brilliant testament to their ability, commitment and hard work.

Everyone at Rhigos RFC is incredibly proud of what Harri, Cammie and Arthur have achieved. Their dedication, attitude and effort throughout this season have been outstanding, and it is fantastic to see their hard work rewarded.

We wish them the very best of luck on this exciting journey. Keep working hard, keep enjoying your rugby, and most importantly — keep representing Rhigos with pride 💛🖤🏉

🏉 COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT 🏉

Here’s our coaching team for the upcoming season as we look ahead to another battle in Division 3. We are delighted to announce we have retained our coaching team for another season.

⚫️ Jason steps into the role of Head Coach
🟡 Duane continues as Team Manager
⚫️ Ben remains in charge of the backs
🟡 Chris takes on responsibility for the forwards, both on and off the field

This coaching group brings a wealth of experience, passion and knowledge of the club. All four have proudly represented the club as players, with both Jason and Duane having captained the side during their playing careers.

Young, driven and meticulous in their approach, the team is committed to building on the club’s strong foundations and helping the squad reach its full potential this season. We’re excited to see where their leadership takes us.

We would also like to place on record our sincere thanks to Emori Katalu for his outstanding service over the past seven seasons. His dedication, commitment and contribution to the club have been immense, and we wish him every success in the next chapter of his journey.

An U10's Team is coming to Rhigos 🥳 It's an exciting time as our U10's start to learn the skills of rucking 💪 Preseason training is due to start next week as we prepare the children for the season ahead. What an amazing way to finish our first season at Rhigos RFC 🏉⚒️ A massive well done to all the children who braved the cold training evenings and gave their all in the training games 🥶💪 We'd like to say a massive thank you to the parents who turn up on a weekly basis, standing in the cold conditions cheering the team on 👏🥳 A massive thank you to the members of Rhigos RFC and the community for the warm welcome and support we've had since joining the club 😊🥰 Thank you to our coaches Huw, Corey, James and Emma for giving up their time to teach and guide the children through their journey 🏉⚒️ We are so excited to see this team in action in September as they start their rugby path as U7's, Good Luck to you all 💛🖤
