The proper shin pads are so important

"Thank god for shin pads, the crack was loud enough for touchline supporters to hear, initially I worried it was his leg, This is a perfect example for anyone that chooses to ignore it or wear the miniscule pads, the outcome could’ve been very different!"

A perfect example of how important shin pads are in matches AND training!

A complete accident today as I coached my U11’s match today - a loose ball in the box, my son ran on to shoot, opposition attempted to block with a slightly raised foot and studs hit shin.

Thank god for shin pads, the crack was loud enough for touchline supporters to hear, initially I worried it was his leg. Fortunately the shin pads did their job!

As a club, and as a coach of 2 teams, we enforce the rule that pads must be worn for training and matches. This is a perfect example for anyone that chooses to ignore it or wear the miniscule pads, the outcome could’ve been very different!
