Another absolutely blisteringly hot day! 🥵🔥

As a result, numbers were a little lighter than usual tonight - but wow, those who came more than made up for it! 👊💪

We slowed things down a little, took plenty of extra drinks breaks, and made sure everyone stayed safe in the heat... but the effort? The effort was absolutely next level.

It would have been very easy to skip class tonight, but every single person on the mats dug deep, worked hard, and gave it their all. That's the kind of attitude that gets results 🔥

Seriously impressed and super proud of everyone who trained tonight. You guys were awesome! 😄

Another scorcher of a day... but these guys just keep powering through! 🥵🔥🥋

The weather was hot, the dojo was hotter, and by the end of class everyone was definitely feeling it 😅💪

But despite the heat, the effort was fantastic across all classes. Loads of hard work, great focus, and plenty of determination from everyone on the mats 👊

It's easy to work hard when conditions are perfect. It takes real character to keep pushing when things get tough - and that's exactly what this team did tonight.

Massive well done everyone, you smashed it! 🔥

When it's hotter than a furnace in hell... and these warriors STILL give it their all! 🥵🔥🥋

Seriously impressed with the effort across all 4 classes tonight. It would have been very easy to take it easy in this heat, but every single one of you turned up, worked hard, and gave 100% - well done team! 👊💪

We had progress, plenty of laughs, and a fair bit of sweat along the way...
(Or as the girls keep reminding me, it's not sweat, it's ✨sparkle✨ 😆)

The dojo was roasting, the students were on fire, and I think Sir may have melted at one point too 😂

Massive well done team - an awesome way to kick-start the week, Kaizen style! 🔥

We've not been very active on Facebook/Insta lately, but that's only because there's been so much going on behind the scenes as we put the finishing touches to our new dojo! 🥋🔥

But I wanted to take a moment to share a photo of our new Adults Class - because these guys are absolutely smashing it! 👊

No egos. No expectations. No pressure to be the best in the room.

Just progress, support, plenty of laughs along the way - ok and maybe a few achy muscles, but it’s all good fun 😅💪

We've got a mix of complete beginners and people returning to training after a long break, so we're taking things steady, building solid foundations, learning the basics, improving fitness, and having a great time doing it.

The atmosphere has been exactly what we hoped for - friendly, welcoming, supportive, and full of people encouraging each other to be a little bit better than they were yesterday.

Well done guys, I'm really proud of the effort you're putting in every class. Keep it up!

And for anyone wondering... this is proof that the kids don't get to hog all the fun! 😎🥋🖤

🚨EXCITING NEWS ALERT! 🚨

We’d like to introduce you to one of our new instructors… Sensei Jamie 🥋

Jamie’s martial arts journey started when he was nine years old with his best friend - both super excited to give it a go! As you can expect from nine year olds in the 90’s they definitely wanted to be power rangers!

Jamie became an instructor because he wanted to inspire a new generation of students on their karate journey just like his instructors did for him.

Sensei Jamie brings a wealth of knowledge, years of teaching experience, and previously competing both nationally and internationally. We’re certainly excited to see what he will bring to class!

Please join me in giving Sensei Jamie a huge warm welcome to the Kaizen family 🖤 🥋

Friday crew on fire tonight! 🔥

It may be warm outside, but that didn’t stop the Friday crew bringing HUGE energy tonight! 🥋🔥☀️

Loads of effort, sharp focus, and plenty of sweaty faces by the end of class 👊💪

You guys always know how to kick-start the weekend properly - loud, hardworking, and full of energy from start to finish 😄💥
