Womens Blues unfortunately lost 0-1 in the Divisional Cup Final by a scrappy goal. They battled right to the end.
Not the best result for my last ever game after 5 years. But so proud of them all.
Player of match our Skipper who played through the pain barrier and led by example.

Not the result we deserved. But i cant fault any of you. You gave your all against a good young team. So so proud of you all.
Speech time. ************
Doing it now on here. Because If I do it on the Presentation night I'll be in pieces.
After 5 years of coaching this brilliant women’s football team, the time has finally come for me to hang up the whistle, retire my questionable tactical decisions, and stop pretending I know what I’m doing on a touchline.
Honestly, it’s been an incredible journey. We’ve shared wins, losses, muddy pitches, freezing Wednesday nights, and enough missed sitters to last a lifetime. Somehow, through all of that, we built a proper team — one full of talent, resilience, humour, and just the right amount of chaos. And won a few trophies along the way too.
Thank you all for putting up with my shouting from the sidelines, my “motivational” team talks, my mood swings and my belief that cones and bibs can solve every football problem known to mankind.
The truth is, coaching this team has given me far more than I could ever give back. Watching your confidence grow, seeing friendships form, and being part of the journey has been an absolute privilege. I’ve loved every minute — even the moments where I aged about 10 years during the last five minutes of a match or during a training session where I go through the instructions for the 3rd time.
I won't miss the constant chasing of subs and updating of the App mind..
To everyone involved, players present and past: thank you for the laughs, the memories, and the constant reminders that women’s football is full of passion, quality, and people who care deeply about each other.
I’m leaving proud, grateful, and with a much louder voice than I had 5 years ago.
Keep working hard, keep supporting each other, and most importantly, keep proving the referee wrong.
For those carrying on, I’ll be cheering you on from the sidelines — probably still questioning substitutions and definitely still blaming the weather.
Thank you for everything.
It's been emotional
See you on Presentation Night to sign off in style.
