💙 Redcar Town are delighted to introduce Paul White as the new U23’s Manager and Paul Jackson, as his assistant manager.

🤍 Paul White was player/coach of the U23’s last season, and his stepping up to the manager’s role gives us continuity and stability as we step up into the First Division.

🤝 Paul Jackson joins the club following a spell working away, formerly a player and coach at Northallerton Town. He brings a wealth of experience to the team. Welcome to Redcar Town, Jacko.

🗣️ Head of Men’s Senior Development, Darren Sill, says, ‘We’re thrilled to have both Paul’s in place. Their enthusiasm and zest for the job in hand is fantastic, and neither of them can wait to get the lads back in and start preparing for an exciting challenge ahead.’

🟦⬜️ 𝑵𝑬𝑾 𝑺𝑬𝑨𝑺𝑶𝑵, 𝑵𝑬𝑾 𝑶𝑷𝑷𝑶𝑹𝑻𝑼𝑵𝑰𝑻𝑰𝑬𝑺 🟦⬜️

💙 Redcar Town have come a long way in a short time, and we want to continue our progress. To do that, we need your help.

🤝 We have a variety of off-field roles that we need volunteers to fill. We require a secretary to support the Reserve Team as we go into the 26/27 season.

🤕 We would also like to hear from any trainee physios that want practical experience, primarily supporting the reserve team but also supporting our First Team physio, Marshall Topham.

👀 If you watch a lot of football at a local level, then get in touch as we try to build up a proper scouting network for the club.

⚽️ If you just love football and want to get involved at the club, then we’d love to hear from you.

💙 Redcar Town are delighted to announce a restructuring of the management team for our Reserves and U23 sides for the 26/27 season. Chris Nicholson and Craig Smee will work in tandem managing the reserves, with Town playing legend Jamie Lee and Gary Sibley in supporting roles. Also joining the team is Ash Kelley, who will be the goalkeeping coach. Paul White is the new U23 manager, with his support staff to be announced shortly.

📈 We feel this team will give us the stability to continue our progression across the club. Chris played a massive part in the success of the first team last season, and Craig’s first season with the U23s saw promotion and a cup final.

🗣️ Head of Men’s Senior Development, Darren Sill, says, ‘We feel this gives us the best of both worlds. With Chris and Jamie’s close connection with the first team and Craig and Gary knowing the U23s inside out, we are in a great position to continue to develop talent with the emphasis on the pathway through the club. We’ve had a fantastic season, but we want to top that again going forward, and I’m delighted with the calibre of people we’ve got on the bench and on the pitch.’

We caught up with a member of Craig’s management team, Garry Sibley who shared his thoughts on last night’s performance and reflected on the season as a whole.

🟦⬜️ FULL TIME 🟦⬜️

Last night wasn’t meant to be, but the lads showed great character throughout the game.

We took the lead in the first half from a corner, with Spencer there to meet it.

In the second half, Billingham grew into the game and eventually found an equaliser with 10 minutes to go when their striker headed home from a corner. The winner came after Town were pushing for a goal themselves, with a counter attack ending in the number 9 scoring his second of the game.

The lads should be proud of themselves. In their first season together in men’s football, achieving promotion and reaching a cup final is nothing to be ashamed of.

Well done to Billingham Town Reserves 👏
