MATCH REPORT
Prissick Rovers Madrid U12 2-3 Redcar Town Blues U12

Redcar Town Blues travelled to Prissick Rovers Madrid looking to build on the positive start to the season last week

1-0 — Prissick
The game got off to the worst possible start for Redcar, giving the ball away straight from kick-off. The Prissick forward took full advantage, producing an excellent finish from distance into the top corner.

1-1 — Alfie Park ⚽️
Redcar responded brilliantly. Phoenix Dandy brought the ball down in the middle of the pitch before spotting Alfie Park’s run and playing a ball over the top. Alfie raced through and lobbed the onrushing goalkeeper to bring Redcar level.

1-2 — Alfie Park ⚽️
Just a minute later, Redcar turned the game around.
A loose ball fell to Alfie, who set it back to Sokol Hysku. Sokol took a touch before playing a brilliant ball in behind for Alfie to run onto. Alfie took one touch before smashing the ball into the top right corner

2-2 — Prissick
Prissick responded before half-time following some sloppy possession from Redcar. Some good interlinked play between their forwards created an opening, which was finished brilliantly into the top corner.

HALF-TIME: 2-2

The second half continued to be a closely fought contest, with both sides battling hard for control.

2-3 — Phoenix Dandy ⚽️
Redcar eventually regained the lead well into the second half.
This time Alfie turned provider, getting turned before playing the ball into the supporting Phoenix. Phoenix took a touch and got a shot away, which the goalkeeper managed to save but Phoenix reacted quickest to follow up and fire the rebound into the back of the net!

Some great defensive performances today from Skyler Griffith, Finlay Innes, Baxter Sullivan and MOTM, our Captain, Reuben Taylor

FULL-TIME: Prissick Rovers Madrid U12 2-3 Redcar Town Blues U12

A brilliant, competitive game between two sides who gave everything, with Redcar Town Blues just coming out on top.

Two games, two wins. A fantastic start to life in Division 3💙⚽️

Redcar Town Royals U10 vs Kadar FC U10

An evenly matched, hard-fought game with chances at both ends — plenty to keep everyone on the touchline on their toes! 👏⚽

🧤 Bobby Oliver put in a solid performance between the sticks, while all the lads at the back played some excellent football and worked hard for each other making some solid challenges and picking good passes. 💪

Up stepped our Captain, Jax, to slot home from the penalty spot! Cool under pressure, skipper! 🎯⚽

🏆 Man of the Match: Reggie Wilkinson
A brilliant effort, Reggie — well done! 👏🌟

Next up, we’re back at home next Sunday against Middleton Rangers.

Let’s bring the energy and get behind the lads! 🏡🔵⚪

🔵⚪ Barnard Castle v Redcar Town Lions 🦁

An eventful away day for our young Lions, with two outstanding goals from Joe and plenty of strong performances before a late Barnard Castle comeback turned the game around. Redcar started brightly, moving the ball well and creating chances through Mason, George and Henry.

Freddie also went close, while the Barnard Castle goalkeeper made several important saves. At the other end, Mikey produced some excellent stops, including a superb close-range save. Logan Smith and Oscar worked hard defensively, helping the Lions withstand pressure in a competitive first half.

The breakthrough came when Joe drove forward and fired a brilliant strike across the goalkeeper and in off the far post, giving Redcar the lead heading into the break. ⚽👏

The Lions carried that attacking intent into the second half, with Henry and George threatening before Joe doubled the lead with a spectacular strike from outside the box. An early contender for goal of the season! 🚀🔥

Harry worked hard to keep the pressure on up front, while Logan continued to make crucial defensive interventions and Mikey pulled off another important save with his leg. However, Barnard Castle kept pushing. Their first goal arrived with nine minutes remaining, sparking a dramatic turnaround as they levelled and then pulled away to secure victory.

A tough finish after so much good work, but plenty for the Lions to build on and lessons to take into training. Credit to Barnard Castle for their strong comeback.

👏⚽ Goals: Joe ×2Two superb strikes from last week’s Player of the Match!

🏆 Player of the Match & Parents’ Player of the Game: Logan SmithAn immense performance from Logan — a rock at the back, influential across the pitch and tireless throughout. A thoroughly deserved double award. Well done, Logan! 💪🦁🔵⚪ Coastal Bakes

Keep your heads up, Lions. We learn, we grow and we go again together.

Billingham United 4–0 Redcar Town U13s Whites

Our first away game of the season saw the Whites travel to Billingham with just one outfield substitute.

It was a competitive, balanced game, with the team working hard throughout. We struggled for confidence in front of goal, while Billingham managed to find the breakthrough in the final minute of the first half to make it 1–0 at half-time.

An unlucky penalty in the second half, which was a tough one to call, saw Billingham add to their lead.

⭐ Captain – Justin
A standout performance and fantastic attitude in training. 👏

🏆 Parents’ Player – Riley
Outstanding first-half performance with some brilliant saves. 👏

🏆 Coaches’ Player – Leo
Came on at half-time and maintained the high standards, making some fantastic saves of his own. 👏

The team is still doing amazingly in their new league and continues to show plenty of fight and promise. We just need that first goal to give the team the confidence they deserve!

⚽️ MATCH REPORT | Redcar Town Whites vs Riverside Juniors ⚽️

What a game! 👏

The players started off a little slowly today. We created plenty of chances but weren’t quite showing our full potential. Despite that, we went into half-time 3-1 up.

The second half was a completely different story, as Riverside Juniors fought their way back into the game to make it 3-3. Both teams dug deep, and it really felt like a repeat of yesterday’s game at the Riverside! 😮‍💨

The players showed great character when it mattered most. Clayton stepped up to put us back in front at 4-3, before Billy sealed the deal to make it a fantastic 5-3 win! 💪⚽️

🏆 Man of the Match: Billy — a brilliant hat-trick and a fantastic all-round performance! 👏

A massive well done to every single player today. Everyone played their part in helping the team get over the line, and the character shown after letting a 3-1 lead slip was fantastic to see.

🔵⚪️ MATCH REPORT | REDCAR TOWN U15 GIRLS ⚪️🔵

Redcar Town U15 Girls 3–0 Stockton Town U15 Girls

After a tough away game and a narrow defeat in last weekends "Lemon Top" Derby, the girls were determined to put things right—and they did exactly that! 💪

From the first whistle, Town played with fantastic energy and purpose. The passing was sharp, the movement off the ball was excellent, and every player worked tirelessly both in and out of possession.

The girls were organised and determined defensively, securing a thoroughly deserved clean sheet, while looking dangerous and clinical going forward. 🧱🔒

🔥 Poppy M stole the show in front of goal, completing a brilliant hat-trick!

🎯 Erin was instrumental in the attacking play with two assists, while Niamh also added an assist.

There were outstanding performances across the pitch, but Player of the Match went to Erin, whose energy, passing, movement and creativity made a huge difference throughout. 👏🏆
A fantastic response to last weekend’s disappointment and a performance full of quality, teamwork and determination. Well done, girls! 💙🤍

TIBS U14 0-4 Redcar Town U14 Girls

Redcar Town Under-14 Girls got their second game of the season underway with an early 9:30am kick-off.

There was a slight change to the winning team from last week, with Autum rested due to injury and Lyra stepping in between the sticks for the first half. Poppy also came in at left back.

The Redcar girls started superbly, dominating possession and creating a number of chances. We opened the scoring from a corner, with Frankie delivering an excellent ball into a dangerous area and Michelle steaming in at the far post to head home.

The away supporters were sent into absolute delirium — and quite rightly so! The Redcar Town supporters have been hoping and praying for a headed goal for the last three years, and today Michelle finally delivered, guiding a lovely header into the open net. We’ll be expecting a few more now!

Redcar continued to dominate the ball, creating numerous opportunities and getting in behind the TIBS defence. There was some lovely football from midfield, while the defence also played a big part, moving the ball confidently through the lines.

Despite our dominance, we went into half-time with the score still 1–0.

Redcar started the second half a little slower, particularly during the opening 10–15 minutes. We were a little sloppy in possession and struggled to get a real grip on the game. That said, we limited Tibs to very little in terms of clear-cut chances, with Michelle taking over in goal for the second half and doing a great job.

After around 15 minutes of the restart, we found our second goal through some excellent work down the right-hand side. Lyra delivered a fantastic ball into the box, and under pressure, a Tibs defender got something on it and unfortunately for them, turned it into her own net.

Redcar continued to push and were rewarded with a third. Isla Stevenson stepped up with a superb drilled finish, firing the ball through the goalkeeper to make it 3–0.

As Redcar continued to press and Tibs began to tire, Rymer latched onto a ball on the edge of the box. She took a lovely touch out of her feet before drilling a shot across the keeper. It took a slight deflection on its way through, but found the back of the net to round off an impressive 4–0 victory.

Overall, an excellent performance from the girls. A particular mention has to go to those who volunteered to go in goal and cover. It takes real bravery to step into an unfamiliar position, and both Lyra and Michelle did a fantastic job.

POTM- Josie Marshall. Did exactly what was asked of her. A disciplined leader performance from centre mid. Won the ball back, joined the attacks, played it simple when needed and worked to get back into shape when out of possession.

🚀 AWAY DAY AT NASA BLACKS 🚀

Another away day for the girls—and they were ready for lift-off! 🌟

Straight from kick-off, the girls put together a brilliant 10-pass move, only to be denied by an excellent save from the goalkeeper. That move set the tone for everything that followed!

The whole squad was used brilliantly, with every player giving their all for the shirt. Binky grabbed a first-half brace, while Indie also found the net before the break. ⚽️

Jess was outstanding on the right from the very first whistle and added two goals and two assists during a superb performance. The girls scored some excellent team goals, while Alba, Penny and Keileigh were rock-solid defensively. 🧱💪

Rosie was called into action a couple of times during the first half but was equal to everything, earning herself another clean sheet! 🧤🚫⚽️

Indie, Lil, Poppy and Robyn worked tirelessly across midfield and out wide, maintaining the team’s shape and keeping the opposition on the back foot.

The set-piece delivery from Poppy and Indie was outstanding all morning. On another day, Poppy could easily have had a couple of goals herself, if not for some brilliant goalkeeping!

A fantastic all-round team performance from the girls! 👏🔥

❤️💙THIS IS WHAT BEST MATES ARE FOR

FC Hartlepool are getting right behind Daragh this weekend as he takes on the Great North Run for his best mate, Matty Blades, and continues Matty’s incredible fundraising efforts for Parkinson’s UK.

Throughout 2026, Matty dedicated himself to raising as much money as possible for Parkinson’s UK, taking on an incredible series of running challenges.

It started with 10km every day throughout January — 310km in a month — before taking on half marathons and setting his sights on the Great North Run and Kielder Marathon.

A selfless commitment that has already helped raise an incredible £5,617 plus Gift Aid for Parkinson’s UK.

This Sunday, Matty should have been taking on the Great North Run.

Instead, his best mate Daragh will stand on that start line and run it in Matty’s place. ❤️

Another incredibly selfless act.

Daragh might admit the training hasn’t exactly gone to plan 😅, but he’s stepping up for his best mate and making sure Matty’s fundraising mission continues.

Two mates. Two selfless acts of kindness. One brilliant cause. ❤️

Now we’re asking the FC Hartlepool family and the wider football community to get behind Daragh.

🔴🔵 Can we help Daragh over that GNR finish line and help Matty raise as much as possible for Parkinson’s UK?

💙 DONATE TO MATTY’S FUNDRAISER HERE:

https://events.parkinsons.org.uk/fundraisers/matthewblades

Every donation, no matter the amount, can help push Matty’s incredible total even higher.

And please SHARE this post. Even if you can’t donate, one share could put Matty and Daragh’s story in front of somebody who can.

Let’s get this travelling. ❤️

For Matty. For Parkinson’s UK.
